Chrisleys tell Lara Trump: Learning they had been pardoned wasn’t as simple as all that
Julie and Todd Chrisley were taken aback when they discovered they’d received a presidential pardon.
In a soon-to-be-aired interview on Fox News Channel, Julie Chrisley expressed that typically, the news in prison is negative. However, when she received some positive news, her fellow prisoners initially found it hard to comprehend the scene unfolding before them.
World & Nation
Actions taken by President Trump intertwined his inclination towards granting clemency to influential Republicans, supporters, financiers, and associates with the case of Alice Marie Johnson.
“They’re like, ‘Are you OK?’” Julie said.
To be honest, she wasn’t in her best state when her daughter, Savannah, informed her that President Trump had approved the best possible pardon card.
Upon hearing the news from her daughter, Julie exclaimed, “I couldn’t help but burst into tears.” She added, “The room seemed to stare back at me, and in my nerves, I ended the call without a word.
At the Republican National Convention, it was Savannah who passionately argued for the president’s intervention to release her imprisoned parents. In her speech, she criticized the “unscrupulous district attorneys” who had placed her parents in jail.
At least Julie ended a call with her daughter instead of the President. Now, those around her were questioning her well-being. “I’m fine!” she replied, clutching her husband and daughter’s hands as she reminisced. “I need some space!
Entertainment & Arts
As a passionate cinephile, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news about Todd and Julie Chrisley, stars of ‘Chrisley Knows Best.’ It appears they might be stepping out from federal prison life, all thanks to President Trump, who is reportedly planning to grant them a pardon.
Julie and her husband Todd, known from the USA Network series “Chrisley Knows Best” that highlighted their opulent lifestyle and eccentric family dynamics, once again appeared in their signature blonde styles, joined by two of their five children, Savannah and Chase, on Lara Trump’s sofa.
After receiving sentences of 12 years for him and 7 years for her due to tax evasion, conspiracy, and wire fraud, neither individual had any hair color left. He was confined in a federal prison in Pensacola, Florida, while she served her sentence in Lexington, Kentucky. Upon completion of their prison terms, they were both looking forward to probation. However, the pardons completely altered this situation.
As I strolled through FPC Pensacola, a casual conversation turned into life-changing news – I’d just been pardoned! A fellow inmate, perhaps sensing my excitement, shared the good tidings with me, making this day feel a bit cooler than usual for this film enthusiast.
As a film enthusiast, I’d rephrase it like this: “I nodded in agreement and continued my stroll, seemingly unfazed by the words just spoken. My path led me back to my dorm, where a corrections officer approached me not long after, inquiring if everything was ‘alright.’
Television
Kyle and Savannah Chrisley, in support of their parents, have been citing religious scriptures. On Monday, Todd Chrisley was sentenced to twelve years, while Julie Chrisley received a seven-year sentence.
He replied to Lara Trump, “I’ll do my best,” but he spoke it with a touch of sarcasm. However, the Commanding Officer was sincere.
The police officer informed the celebrity that his pardon had come through, and moreover, he was dispatched to verify Chrisley’s wellbeing.
Todd recalled saying, “They don’t need to be worried about me now! If I’m pardoned, I’m great!”
The head of the Chrisley family additionally disclosed what it was like for him when he met his wife Julie again after being apart for 28 months.

As a movie buff reminiscing, I can’t help but feel a pang of sadness upon learning that the first Orange County native to suit up for the Ducks, Nic Kerdiles, tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident over the weekend in Nashville.
The first time I embraced her felt as though I’d found my way back home. He remarked, ‘Things have shifted between us,’ and continued, ‘If we hadn’t evolved over these past 28 months, it would have all been for naught.’
In my opinion as a movie critic, Todd humbly attributed his survival to divine intervention, stating, “God guided President Trump’s actions towards our benefit.” He expressed gratitude for this divine guidance, as he would nightly plead to God for safe passage back home to his beloved children. And indeed, he was granted that request, hence his heartfelt thanks.
As a passionate cinephile, I’m eagerly looking forward to lending my voice in the future, advocating on behalf of individuals who find themselves incarcerated and yet to be set free.
On Saturdays at 6 p.m., as seen in my local time (or 9 p.m. Eastern), I’ll be sharing my perspective with Lara Trump in an exclusive interview that also features Todd, Julie, Savannah, and Chase Chrisley on Fox News Channel. Don’t miss it!
