TV host Holly Willoughby is latest celebrity to take helicopter to ‘green’ Glastonbury as locals complain it’s ‘antisocial’ and ‘against the spirit’ of the festival
For over ten summers, she’s been known as the “Queen of Glastonbury Festival,” due to her continuous attendance at the event each year.
Yesterday, just like a true queen arriving at her domain, Holly Willoughby arrived at the Worthy Farm site via helicopter, joining over 200,000 fellow music enthusiasts.
However, neighbors from nearby Pilton, Somerset are enraged by the multitude of helicopters transporting celebrities above their farmlands. One resident expressed to the Mail: “We’ve never witnessed so many attending the festival – it’s unbelievable.
‘On Thursday there was a cluster of five, one after the other.
The situation has become rather absurd, and honestly, the organizers should step in to address it. It’s incredibly antisocial and doesn’t align with the friendly, fun-loving atmosphere that Glastonbury Festival is known for.
Yesterday, a man aged 44 years old took off from the Battersea heliport in London around noon. After flying for approximately 50 minutes, he arrived at the festival by 1:30 PM.
Air Charter, a helicopter service provider known for its return tickets priced at £13,950, estimates that it can save its high-profile clientele as much as eight hours on each trip by choosing air travel over ground transportation like driving.
In the exclusive area of the festival, the ex-host of “This Morning” was seen donning a pair of £365 tan boots from her personal collection by Grenson, along with a £158 blouse from Free People worn over a white dress and belt, and topping it off with a Stetson hat.
Or simply:
The former “This Morning” host sported a stylish outfit in the VIP section of the festival, including a pair of £365 tan boots from her line, a £158 blouse from Free People over a white dress and belt, and completed the look with a Stetson hat.

Previously, Ms. Willoughby used to reside at the luxurious Babington House hotel during her event visits, located an hour away by car. She hails a taxi daily for commuting to the venue instead.
Simultaneously, the upscale Camp Kerala, located nearby and priced at £8,000 for a five-day stay, posted a photo on social media featuring a row of helicopters and Rolls-Royce cars, ready to receive distinguished guests.
At a starting price of £385 per ticket, the 45-year-old festival has been under fire for allegedly straying from its free-spirited origins, with some labeling it as “a posh version of Butlin’s holiday resorts for the British upper-middle class” this year.
The Mail approached festival bosses for a comment.
Additionally, noteworthy attendees at the gathering have been Margot Robbie, the actress from “Barbie,” who is 34 years old and eight months postpartum, along with her husband Tom Ackerley, a producer, and their newly born baby.
Yesterday, Benedict Cumberbatch, the mustached actor known for his role as Sherlock, who is 48 years old, took part in an event by Greenpeace called ‘Letters Live’, where he read letters from various parts of the world.
Yesterday, many unaware spectators enjoyed impromptu concerts by Lewis Capaldi and Lorde without anticipation.

During a heartfelt moment, Capaldi struggled to hold back his emotions as he exclaimed, “I’m back, my love,” upon his moving comeback at the legendary Pyramid Stage of Glastonbury.
As a devoted admirer, I was among those who erupted in joyous cheers for the 28-year-old Scottish singer, who graced the stage two years after his Tourette’s syndrome temporarily halted his performance and forced a pause in his career.
He told the crowd: ‘Two years ago I wasn’t sure if I’d ever do this again, but I’m back baby!’
Additionally, at age 28, Lorde thrilled fans when she unexpectedly took the Woodsies stage. Her performance included removing her shirt as the temperature reached 81 degrees Fahrenheit.
