Wistful Orlando Bloom cuts a somber figure as he explores Venice ahead of Bezos wedding after Katy Perry split

However, following the rumored breakup with Katy Perry, it seems that newly single Orlando Bloom found it difficult to fully hide his sorrow.

48-year-old Lord of the Rings actor seemed a little melancholic while getting ready for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding in Venice, Italy on Thursday, despite maintaining a cheerful demeanor around A-listers like Tom Brady.

Even while enjoying a boat ride through the majestic city, Orlando looked somewhat somber. 

While sailing over the water, Orlando stood near the railing, sipping on a drink, yet his face remained unmoved and thoughtful, suggesting deep reflection.

His eyes were concealed behind sunglasses, further adding to the mystique.  

Despite the gloomy expressions, it seemed like the festivities helped Orlando divert his attention from the rumored split.

The somber expressions on Orlando’s face didn’t tell the whole story; it appeared that the celebrations might have offered a welcome distraction amidst the reported break-up.

His smile was undeniable as he was seen riding another boat with NFL star Brady.  

On Wednesday, it was reported that Orlando and Katy had decided to end their relationship, which had been marked by periods of reconciliation for nearly a decade. They had been engaged for six years and share one child together, but recent weeks saw an increase in tension leading up to the split.

Fans have been discussing for several weeks that everything might not be going smoothly with the couple, as Katy, aged 40, has been spotted without her engagement ring on occasion.

Despite being in the midst of a global tour, the pop star, along with Orlando (aged 48), has chosen not to address the rumors swirling around them. It seems that they are striving to resolve their difficulties privately for the sake of their daughter, Daisy Dove, who is four years old.

The actor will attend the billionaire’s Italian nuptials without Perry, 40, who is away on tour.

Earlier this week, a source shared with TMZ that this individual is known for being the lively spirit at social gatherings and intends to dance enthusiastically. Moreover, there’s a possibility he might join forces with Leonardo DiCaprio for an impromptu pub-crawl.

A different report mentions: ‘Out of the folks at the wedding, approximately 90% are rather dull, but an exciting 10% make the event lively, which includes Orlando, Leonardo, and Jeff Bezos. The night promises to be fantastic!’

Katy and Orlando were most recently seen side by side at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March, striking poses for photographs on the red carpet.

Despite appearing somewhat uneasy around one another, body language specialist Judi James observed this dynamic.

The news about their separation emerged not long after Katy embarked on her space voyage, causing a wave of criticism following the spread of videos mocking her global tour and the underwhelming sales of her album titled “143.

When the rocket launched, Orlando was part of the audience, but he managed to stay inconspicuous and wasn’t spotted standing next to Katy as she came back.

It’s been suggested that Orlando felt awkward about the trip following the widespread criticism Katy faced online for her unusual behavior during it. This included grabbing attention by displaying a daisy, symbolizing her daughter, in zero gravity, as well as an odd incident where she knelt and kissed the ground upon landing.

According to a source close to Katy, he expressed that the entire situation seemed ludicrous during their argument. He added that it was awkward and embarrassing, which understandably upset her.

Approximately 90 private aircraft are scheduled to touch down at nearby airfields this week, assembling a star-studded crowd from entertainment, politics, and finance for what’s been affectionately called “the wedding of the century.

The celebrations are expected to kick off on Thursday and end on Saturday.
