Sam Thompson reveals the moment he kickstarted his ‘glow-up’ after split from girlfriend Zara McDermott as he reveals the secret to his impressive transformation

Sam Thompson shared the point when he initiated his popular transformation, often referred to as a “glow-up,” after parting ways with his ex-girlfriend, Zara McDermott.

32-year-old cast member from Made In Chelsea has left fans amazed by his recent physical change, as he prepared himself for his task related to the Soccer Aid matchball within the past couple of weeks.

During a chat with TopMob at the TRIC Awards red carpet recently, Sam confessed that he too was surprised by the response his latest appearance change has received, a topic that keeps popping up in his podcast called “Staying Relevant.

Last year, Sam parted ways with his long-term partner Zara following five years together, and it appears that she’s now seeing One Direction member Louis Tomlinson.

He said: ‘Do you know what’s funny? I sometimes and think ”how s**t did I look?” 

Indeed, that resonates with me, as I recall a moment when I stood before a mirror and thought, “It’s time for some changes.” This sentiment can be shared freely.

After visiting the gym briefly, I picked up some new clothes, got a haircut too, and it feels fantastic! Truly amazing, I couldn’t be happier – what a pleasant feeling.

Inquired about giving up alcohol as part of his transformation, Sam responded: “No, not at all. To be honest, I don’t consume much alcohol in the first place. However, the real motivation was finding something to strive for – a challenge that truly engaged me.

Beyond any doubt, I’m blessed to have fantastic friends and relatives who are part of my life too. Truly, I consider myself quite fortunate.

In the course of the interview, it was additionally disclosed that Sam and Pete had begun planning their upcoming live performance at London’s O2 Arena, scheduled for September.

Last month, Sam sent fans into meltdown when he unveiled his ‘post-split glow up’. 

Fans adored Sam’s refreshed appearance and showered him with praise, commenting on how stunning the photos were and expressing that he seemed better than before.

It’s a few days after Sam’s friend, Pete Wicks, stated that Sam recognizes his value, which he expressed following his separation from Zara.

During significant shifts in his life, Pete shared that Sam has been making personal improvements and mentioned that things have been improving considerably for his good friend over the past few months.

‘With so many things happening for both of us, Sam started off the year differently. Being a good friend means supporting them through thick and thin, as Sam expressed to New Magazine, by saying, “Things will always improve” – and indeed, they have.’

Pete enthusiastically praised Sam, saying that he had finally recognized his value and deserved nothing but the finest, as he admired the path ahead for his companion.

‘He’s fantastic. It’s not just about his work, but also giving him space to grow and appreciate his value. I hope I’ve played a part in that journey, as he truly deserves all the best.’

On Tuesday, Sam attended along with his good friend and co-host, Pete Wicks, at the TRIC Awards. There, they surprisingly bagged their initial victory for their podcast, even though they had told TopMob prior to the event that they didn’t think they would win.

They were overjoyed as they stepped onto the stage to receive the award, with video capturing the instant Sam jumped on top of his friend in enthusiasm, having triumphed over Begin Again with Davina McCall, Shged. Married. Annoyed, and That Peter Crouch Podcast.

Despite their confidence that they wouldn’t win, Sam openly acknowledged that he hadn’t prepared a speech because the victory took him by such a great shock.

He mentioned that since we’ve become accustomed to losing, we hadn’t prepared anything specifically. So, he expressed his hope that Pete might improvise for a moment!

Later on, Pete mentioned, “Let me just clarify, it’s clear that we’re not exactly the sharpest tools in the shed. However, a few years back, we initiated something, and now we have our own production company.

Pete mentioned, “It’s truly a joy to have won something alongside my good friend. You’re amazing, Sam, and I feel so proud of you!

‘I’m so proud of you, we’re so lucky!’ Sam added.
