Batman
One well-known character who’s made a significant mark in comic book history is Batman, a key player for both DC Comics and the Justice League. In due time, he’s set to headline his own DCU movie under James Gunn. Behind the scenes, Bruce Wayne is a wealthy socialite, but later receives training as a warrior from the League of Shadows. Leveraging his vast fortune, he constructs an armored suit and advanced technology to combat crime as Batman.
In the animated movie titled “Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League“, voiced by Koichi Yamadera, Batman gets transported back to a modern era that’s drastically changed from what he remembers. Japan and the Justice League no longer exist in this world. He is forced to team up with Robin (Damian Wayne) against an army of Yakuza. They encounter new variations of the heroes Batman used to fight alongside.
Green Lantern
In 2014, Jessica Cruz marked a significant milestone in DC comics as the inaugural human female member of the Green Lantern Corps. Aspiring to join the cast of the 2026 series ‘Lanterns’, Cruz survived an assault by the Crime Syndicate (who took the lives of her companions during a hunting expedition). Prior to her embrace of the hero’s mantle, the Green Lantern ring compelled itself onto her without her initial consent.
In the latest film, Jessica Cruz goes by the alias “Zeshika the Radiant Emerald,” functioning as part of the Yakuza Guild. Notably voiced by Ayane Sakura, this character is presented as a risk-taker with a knack for gambling. During her adventures, she discovers the power of the Green Lantern ring and takes on its might, typically materializing a samurai sword in combat against her adversaries.
Aquaman
Generally depicted as Arthur Curry in comic books, Aquaman is the Justice League member who specializes in underwater combat and governs Atlantis within the DC universe. Renowned for his extraordinary abilities, he has the power to communicate with marine life telepathically, manipulate water currents (hydrokinesis), absorb liquid, and even control weather conditions.
Typically portrayed as Arthur Curry in comics, Aquaman is a Justice League member known for his underwater skills and role as ruler of Atlantis within the DC universe. He’s famous for his superhuman abilities, including communicating with sea creatures telepathically, controlling water movements (hydrokinesis), absorbing liquids, and even influencing weather patterns.
In this film adaptation, the character portraying Aquaman is recognized as Arthur Curry, played by Akio Otsuka. However, he is also referred to as “Ahsa, the Aqua Dragon.” Within the storyline, Ahsa serves as second-in-command in the Yakuza League and has lineage that traces back to a race of water dwellers living at the Hinomoto Lake. In this movie, aside from his iconic trident, he employs a diverse array of weapons for combat.
The Flash: Nobuyuki Hiyama
Barry Allen, known for being one of the swiftest characters in comic book lore, is an esteemed member of the Justice League from DC’s rich history. After a mishap with a chemical experiment, he acquired his incredible abilities, enabling him to outrun even the speed of light, boast lightning-fast reflexes, and control lightning through the power of the Speed Force.
In the animated film “Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League“, this character is known as “Bari, the Swift One,” reflecting his abilities related to speed. In this adaptation, Barry Allen acquired his powers following an encounter with lightning inside a sauna, and he causes chaos as part of the Yakuza League.
Wonder Woman: Romi Park
Known for being one of the most renowned female superheroes ever, Wonder Woman stands out as a key member of DC Comics’ initial trio of superheroes, which also includes Superman and Batman. Upcoming live-action stories will feature Diana Prince (from Themyscira), who boasts extraordinary abilities such as flight, superhuman strength, immortality, and speed that surpass those of ordinary humans.
In this fresh anime film, Diana Prince is reimagined as “Diana Amazone, the Eagle Goddess,” leading the Amazon Family and standing against the Yakuza League. Swiftly forming an alliance with Batman, she showcases numerous abilities similar to Wonder Woman, using a parasol instead of her traditional shield.
