Bindi Irwin shocks fans as she reveals unusual accent during interview

She might be an Aussie icon, but Bindi Irwin sounded remarkably different in a recent interview. 

In recent months, the dedicated wildlife conservationist has been residing extensively in the United States. Recently, she graced the Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce podcast, sharing insights about her 4-year-old daughter Grace’s affection for the popular children’s program Bluey.

During the interview, the 26-year-old adopted an obvious American accent while discussing the children’s program.

‘How big is Bluey in your household?’ US-based host Kylie asked her.

‘Oh my goodness,’ Bindi replied, mimicking the interviewer with a thick American accent.

‘Bluey is life. Bluey is everything,’ she added.

As the conversation unfolded, Bindi’s distinctive Australian accent reemerged more strongly, hinting at the extended period she’s spent in America, which was evident in her initial speech.

Recently, the conservationist posted a touching photo from her trip to Disney World, Florida, where she was accompanied by her husband, Chandler Powell, and their daughter, Grace.

As a devoted admirer, I was delighted to capture a heartwarming moment at the iconic Cinderella Castle in the theme park, with Bindi and her precious brood posing for an adorable Instagram shot.

In this scene, Chandler, aged 28, cradled tiny Grace, adorned for the event in a glittering dress and a Minnie Mouse headpiece. Meanwhile, Bindi, her partner by her side, beamed with happiness while holding his hand.

‘May was an incredible month,’ Chandler captioned the family photo.

Previously crowned wakeboard champion, they proceeded to recount several cherished family experiences, among them was Bindi’s unexpected health crisis that ultimately proved to be a hidden blessing.

He mentioned that his trip to Florida to visit family, where Bindi underwent a significant operation, combined with our Oregon escapades, as well as a stop at Disney, made for an exciting and diverse experience.

Back in May, Bindi found herself quickly taken to the hospital mere hours following her arrival in Las Vegas for an event celebrating her deceased father, Steve Irwin.

Instead of attending the high-profile event with her brother Robert Irwin and mother Terri Irwin, she had to undergo emergency surgery due to a burst appendix, which she unfortunately missed.

In a recent Instagram update, Bindi shared that during her appendix surgery, the doctors found 14 additional lesions related to her endometriosis. Fortunately, these too were successfully taken out.

In addition, she underwent a repair for a hernia that occurred post-pregnancy with the birth of her daughter Grace, in the year 2021.
