The Frens family, hailing originally from Newcastle, gained recognition for their candid views on Nine’s Travel Guides, a show that premiered in the year 2017.
The show primarily focuses on everyday Australians, acting as travel reviewers, evaluating well-known and distant travel spots worldwide.
The primary school teachers, Mark and Cathy, as well as the hospitality workers, Jono and Vic, are recognized for their dislike towards challenging or difficult circumstances.
It comes after fans weren’t too impressed with new guides Karly Fisher and Bri Auty last year.

The duo who travel extensively faced criticism, with many viewers describing them as awkward or uncomfortable to watch, leading some to demand their removal from the program.
Supporters of the long-lasting reality TV program have also started an informal campaign on Facebook, attempting to persuade the producers to remove the pair from the show through a online petition.
‘Please take the two girls off the show,’ one fan commented.
They requested, “Prefer the experienced travelers over the fresh arrivals; their conversation is tough to endure. Could you possibly arrange for the return of the twins, Stacey and Mel Wilburn, who are more famously known as Stack and Mel?
Another fan chimed in saying they believed the duo ‘spoilt the show’.
They expressed their fondness for the program, but also suggested that certain female characters should be removed because they come off as insincere and negatively impact the show. They described these characters as quite awkward and unnecessary, urging the creators to make changes and exclude them.
