Kylie Minogue shares major tour update after cancelling four shows due to sudden illness: ‘So, so sorry’
Australian music icon Kylie Minogue has shared that she’s hitting the road again following a bout of illness which led to the cancellation of four key performances during her ongoing Tension world tour.
56-year-old artist, who’s now touring across Europe, developed laryngitis earlier this month. This illness compelled her to cancel performances in Germany, Poland, Lithuania, and Estonia.
On Wednesday, following her concert in Espoo, Finland where she performed her hit song Padam Padam, she expressed gratitude towards her fans via social media for their support and understanding as she resumed her tour.
Additionally, Kylie shared a message on Instagram to notify the ticket buyers that her previously canceled performances in Lodz, Kaunas, and Tallinn will not be rescheduled for this current tour.
Instead, let me rephrase that for you: Kylie has revealed that she will be performing at her rescheduled concert in Berlin on July 4. Originally scheduled for June 12, the gig had to be postponed.

‘Hi Lovers,’ she began in the share.
I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude for the compassion and assistance you provided during my illness. Thank you so much!
‘The energy I felt from you all got through the show last night in Finland.
‘I’m once again really sorry I wasn’t able to do the shows last week.’
Additionally, she informed her let-down fans, who possess tickets for the postponed European shows, that they should ‘reach out to where they bought the tickets’ to request refunds.
‘I am so, so sorry not to be able to visit you this time,’ she added.
She went on to say, ‘I appreciate all the love, assistance, and comprehension you’ve shown, it holds more value than you can imagine,’ before ending with a warm, affectionate message, ‘With love, Kylie, double-kiss.’
Following Kylie’s Instagram post, where she revealed that she needed to halt her tour due to a diagnosis of laryngitis a week ago.

‘Hi Lovers, as some of you may know, a week ago we finished the UK leg of the Tension Tour.
She managed to cross the finish line (hooray), but sadly, she developed a viral infection, more specifically laryngitis, she explained.
Although I’ve put forth my utmost effort to bounce back swiftly to kick off our next project on Monday, I fear that it might require a few more days for me to regain my full strength and deliver an optimal performance for you.
Laryngitis refers to the swelling or irritation of the voice box, which can cause a weak or even lost voice.
It’s usually caused by a viral infection, vocal strain, or irritation of the vocal cords.
Kylie apologized profusely and explained that she must reschedule her shows in Berlin, Lodz, Kaunas, and Tallinn due to unavoidable circumstances.
Hang onto your tickets for now; we’re working diligently to change the dates and will notify you about the new schedule shortly.
I really appreciate your understanding – you know how much I care about you all. And let me tell you, I absolutely adore this show! Unfortunately, I won’t be able to join you next week, but I’m counting the days until we meet again. Sending love, Kylie xx
This Australian female artist, renowned as the top seller down under and the third highest in the UK, is finally gaining recognition in the US, thanks to the widespread success of her 2023 hit “Padam Padam” that went viral.
In 2023, her record label announced that the singer is determined to break into the U.S. market with unwavering focus.
Through Padam Padam and its subsequent release, Tension, she managed to reverse her fortune in America, earning a Grammy, securing a second number one position on the US Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart, and landing a residency in Las Vegas.
