Sky has announced when The Walking Dead: Dead City season 2 will be premiering in the UK.
In a shift of focus, the offshoot series delves into the lives of Negan and Maggie set in a post-disaster Manhattan, where several groups vie for dominance over New York City.
It is officially announced that the entire season 2 will drop simultaneously, starting from July 10th, and you can stream it on Sky’s platforms like NOW.
What this implies is that there’s only a slight delay, not a significant one. In fact, the whole season was aired in the U.S. as early as last Sunday, bringing its run to an end.
Critics who have watched season 2 have often noted that it stands as a particularly unusual addition within the realm of the “The Walking Dead” franchise.

Screen Rant finds the current season to be “even more intriguing and oddly compelling” compared to the first, remarking that the narrative is significantly more captivating and the supporting characters are anything but forgettable.
The review published by Comic Book Resource expressed a somewhat conflicting opinion. In its second season, “Dead City” remains captivatingly off-kilter, yet it lacks a clear purpose that warrants its continued existence, according to their assessment.
