In February 2022, Steven renewed his relationship with wellness businesswoman and social media personality Melanie, whom he had dated four years prior.

At first, their romantic relationship struggled because the businessman was overly committed to his work, causing him to confess that he couldn’t devote time to Melanie from seven in the morning till nine in the evening due to his busy schedule.

Following their reunion in Bali, a spontaneous move by Steven to express his affection for Melanie, the pair have since thrived and now share a life together within Steven’s residence in north London.

Steven, the individual behind the flourishing marketing agency The Social Chain, worth an impressive £300million upon its initial public offering, concealed a significant aspect of his personal life from his Dragon colleagues, who often joked about his singleness during their time together on the show.

It appears this situation might have been triggered by Steven openly admitting about his non-existent work-life balance, a matter he had mentioned before.

In 2017, he mentioned that from around 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., he is incredibly focused and single-minded, fully immersed in his work.

In simpler words, it seems I’m unaware that there are people beyond my professional sphere and the spaces where I usually stay, who play a part in my personal and private life.

If I receive a text or message from my family or girlfriend while I’m busy during the day, it’s almost certain that I won’t be able to respond meaningfully at that moment.

In the evening hours, I frequently find myself still preoccupied with the events of the day, making it difficult for me to disengage and invest time in other relationships. This lack of focus can negatively impact these connections as well.
