In a new development, VALORANT has enlisted the services of popular Japanese rapper Yuki Chiba to produce the VCT Pacific theme song titled “Shinpai Muyou” before the commencement of Stage 2.
Riot Games has revealed a partnership with popular Japanese musician Yuki Chiba for the VCT Pacific Stage 2 theme song titled “Shinpai Muyou”. Audience members will have an opportunity to hear the tune and enjoy the accompanying video prior to the commencement of the regional league later in the year.
Yuki Chiba’s Shinpai Muyou for VCT Pacific
On July 11, 2025, I’ll be thrilled to have Shinpai Muyou available for streaming across all platforms! And if that’s not exciting enough, the music video will make its debut on the official VCT Pacific YouTube channel on the same day. Can’t wait to hit play and immerse myself in the music!
Yuki Chiba explained that the title of his song, “Shinpai Muyou,” translates to “no worries” in English. He shared that this tune serves as a message for both himself and his audience, encouraging them to let go of their concerns and trust themselves. Instead of fretting, he encourages everyone to simply enjoy the moment and relax.

I can’t wait to join the excitement as I’ll be part of the crowd witnessing the start of VCT Pacific Stage 2 on July 15, right here in Seoul! And for the first time ever, we’re heading to Japan for a breathtaking grand finals roadshow. Let the anthem set the stage for this unforgettable gaming experience!
Jake Sin, the head of VALORANT Esports in APAC, expressed his excitement, saying he hopes our supporters are thrilled about the upcoming song! Music is a crucial element in our region’s passionate celebrations. Working with the gifted Yuki Chiba to produce our anthem has been a cherished aspiration. This is even more significant because we are launching our Finals roadshow in Japan for the first time. Let’s hope this track motivates both our fans and professional teams as we prepare to re-engage in the VCT Pacific competition soon!
VCT Pacific has collaborated with several well-known artists in the past to create anthems, such as K-pop girl group XG for “Undefeated” and Minnie from (G)I-DLE for “Making Waves.” With the league now moving to Japan, it seems appropriate to enlist a Japanese artist for the task.
Yuki Chiba is a multitalented artist from Japan who specializes in rapping, singing, and songwriting. Some of his tracks have gained significant global recognition, one being “Team Tomodachi,” which became even more renowned when the hololive English VTuber group released an official cover version.
Previously, Yuki Chiba teamed up with Megan Thee Stallion for the song “Mamushi,” and it turned out to be a popular tune as well.
