Okurrr! Cardi B’s sophomore album ‘Am I the Drama?’ finally set to release this fall
In a new chapter of her rap endeavors, Cardi B ponders: “Are we dealing with the Drama here?
The title for the Grammy-winning artist’s much-awaited second album, who is famous for “Bodak Yellow,” was revealed on social media on Monday. The artist, aged 32, announced that her new album titled “Am I the Drama?” will be released on September 19, marking seven years since her debut with “Invasion of Privacy” in 2018.
The title “Am I the Drama?” is fittingly dramatic, showcasing Cardi B in an abstract red bodysuit and fishnet stockings, holding one of her towering platform shoes. A raven perches on her shoe, with even more crows circling around her.

Entertainment & Arts
As a passionate admirer, I’m thrilled to share that, in the midst of my personal journey with Offset, Cardi B has ignited a fresh spark – NFL sensation Stefon Diggs. This dynamic duo has been turning heads, making their budding romance center stage and courtside at the NBA Playoffs on Monday.
Cardi B subtly alluded to her upcoming album and its crow symbolism during a dramatic preview, as she mused over “seven years filled with love, life, and sorrow” and exchanging tranquility for turmoil.
The person from the Bronx expresses that power isn’t handed out; it must be seized. He uses the imagery of losing old layers (shedding feathers) and no longer crying, indicating a new phase in his life. Instead of returning, he asserts that he has moved past what was previously known as “back.
Nearly a year before Cardi B’s “Invasion of Privacy” album dropped in April 2018, she initially gained fame with “Bodak Yellow.” In his review for The Times, critic Mikael Wood highlighted her ability to connect — “through the lyrics and her performance, it seems like she’s speaking just to you.
At the 2019 Grammys, Cardi B achieved a groundbreaking victory by becoming the first female solo artist to take home the award for Best Rap Album.

Music
On Thursday, Cardi B revealed the birth of their third child with Migos musician Offset, who they are currently in the midst of separating from.
Over time, Cardi B’s fame grew due to hits such as “I Like It” with J Balvin and Bad Bunny, and “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion. These tracks, along with her more recent singles “Up” and “Outside,” are set to feature on her upcoming album, as indicated by the tracklist preview on Spotify.
“Am I the Drama?” will arrive as Cardi B also marks new milestones in her personal life.
Previously this year, the actor from “Hustlers” confirmed her relationship with NFL player Stefon Diggs following a split with rapper Offset from Migos. In September, she gave birth to their third child, a girl named Blossom Belles. Together with Offset, they are also parents to a 6-year-old daughter called Kulture and a 3-year-old son named Wave.
