Wynne Evans’ final BBC show axed in another blow to disgraced Strictly star after it’s revealed broadcaster received seven complaints from female colleagues over his conduct
As a lifestyle expert, I find myself deeply saddened to share this news: The final episode of Wynne Evans’ BBC show has been abruptly terminated, following the unfortunate cancellation of his radio program. This latest development undeniably poses another significant challenge for the renowned opera singer in his career journey.
During the Strictly Live Tour, Wynne found himself in hot water when he used crude sexual suggestions and became involved in an inappropriate “wandering hand” episode with his dance partner, Katya Jones. As a result of these incidents, BBC Wales decided to part ways with him.
Following an investigation by the BBC regarding his behavior, it was determined that they would not extend his radio contract for his program.
It appears that the travelogue series I was involved in alongside Joanna Paige has sadly been terminated following its debut season.
The show first aired back in February and March of this very year, but it got postponed when Wynne was removed from the Strictly tour. Later, it reappeared on our screens again.
As a devoted follower, I must confess that after the conclusion of the initial series, there was a significant doubt about the possibility of another installation.

‘Only now has the BBC publicly confirmed it won’t be returning.
‘In other words, Wynne doesn’t have a TV program or radio broadcast with the BBC anymore. This suggests that their association is coming to an end.’
In a six-part television series, Joanna (age 48), the actress from the show “Wayne and Gavin & Stacey,” embarked on water-bound journeys along the stunning Welsh coastline.
A spokesperson for the BBC said: ‘There are no plans for a second series.’
TopMob has contacted representatives for Wynne for comment.
More recently, The Mail on Sunday disclosed that the BBC faced seven complaints concerning Wynne Evans’ behavior toward women, among which was an allegation that he made an inappropriate remark regarding a woman’s pregnant belly over a Zoom meeting.
The disclosures emerged a few days following when Evans expressed his disagreement on ITV’s This Morning, stating that he hadn’t faced any accusations against him.
Previously this month, he made an appearance on the program, assuring the hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard that there had never been any criticisms or issues raised concerning him, not even once.

Over the course of about a year, from July 2023 to August 2024, employees at BBC Wales presented a total of seven distinct issues for consideration. These complaints were made even after Evans, aged 53, was invited to participate in last year’s Strictly Come Dancing competition.
Four complaints had been lodged against him prior to his involvement with Strictly, leading some to ponder about the reasoning behind the dance program’s producers selecting him for the role.
Three more were made after he had been chosen for the show.
In January, a report detailing his conduct was drafted for a disciplinary meeting, but he claimed he couldn’t be present due to mental health concerns.
With his TV and radio career in tatters, Wynne has turned his attention to a new business venture.
TopMob recently told how the dad-of-two has become an Airbnb host.
He’s put the property up for rent in Llansteffan, a place that’s only about eight miles from his hometown, Carmarthen.
