Barbra Streisand, starting from her teenage years, has built an impressive wealth spanning over six-and-a-half decades, accumulating a net worth of approximately $510 million.

The well-known celebrity, aged 83, who recently disclosed that she can’t recall if she ever had an intimate encounter with one of Hollywood’s most famed womanizers, is gearing up to unveil what might be her last album titled “The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume Two”.

The record is the follow-up to her successful 2014 release Partners.

During a chat with Variety, primarily to publicize her latest project, the EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony winner) shared an intriguing disclosure about her career, looking back on her journey so far.

While Ariana Grande is set to star opposite Robert DeNiro in the latest Meet the Parents movie as his grandchild’s fiancée, it isn’t certain that Barbra Streisand will return to play Ben Stiller’s mother, Roz Focker.

She expressed her frustration, saying, “Wow, they’d need to offer me a substantial amount, considering I was underpaid compared to my colleagues in Meet the Fockers (2004) and Little Fockers (2010). I’m quite upset about it.

‘During a period where women were earning less than men, I found myself in a situation. Universal’s president at that moment was Ron Meyer, and surprisingly, he sent me an extra paycheck as a gesture of kindness.’

Despite claiming to dislike work, Streisand is taking on the role of executive producer for an upcoming multi-part documentary series about her life. This project is being overseen by Oscar nominee Frank Marshall.

Streisand, who has expressed disdain for work, will be serving as executive producer for a multi-part docuseries chronicling her life. The series is under the direction of Oscar nominee Frank Marshall.

Additionally, she released her newest album, stating, “Every aspect needs my approval. It’s always been this way for me, from the start right up to now.

Since 1998, Streisand has been blissfully married to the 84-year-old actor James Brolin. They first crossed paths during a blind date at a dinner party in 1996. From that moment on, they were drawn to each other, and their love story unfolded from there.

During an interview on Today in April, Brolin playfully remarked that their most beneficial investment in their relationship was their mattress.

Brolin is comfortable out on the open plains, but Streisand finds her comfort within a recording studio.

In simpler terms, ‘I enjoy being by myself. I don’t feel the need to dress up or put on a show. I can simply focus on singing, which I genuinely appreciate, and I take pleasure in recording my performances.’

It’s uncertain if she’ll return to performing on stage or screen, but she continues to receive job offers.

The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume Two will be released on Friday.
