Peter Andre weighs in about ‘drama with exes’ after Katie Price’s surprising comments about his wife

Peter Andre shares insights on handling drama with former partners, following Katie Price’s recent remarks that sparked controversy.

This month, I was privy to Katie expressing her true feelings regarding Peter’s wife, Emily. Interestingly, it seemed that they, along with their family, frequently socialized together in the past. However, it appears that Emily doesn’t share the same level of commitment towards him as he once did.

In his recent magazine article, Peter chose to share his insights on dealing with past relationships, even though he didn’t directly respond to earlier comments.

In a recent encounter at the Soccer Aid event, where they were united for a remarkable cause, he mentioned: ‘Regardless of their past and present connections with Zara McDermott, Sam Thompson and Louis Tomlinson for me, are primarily associated with this shared experience.’

‘People tend to create a stir when it comes to dramas involving exes, but since we don’t know all the details, it’s best to focus on the game and the cause in situations like Soccer Aid. That’s what usually happens.’

2009 marked the heart-wrenching separation between Peter and me, a couple who shared an unforgettable bond forged five years earlier on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. Our whirlwind romance had started there, and it left a lasting impression on my heart.

During an interview on Katherine Ryan’s What’s My Age Again Podcast, Katie openly discussed her feelings about Peter’s recent marriage, sharing that their daughter, Princess, found the new relationship puzzling.

The mother of five reminisced, “‘You’re simply crazy, mom,’ [Princess] said. ‘When I see you and Emily, it’s like night and day. I find it hard to picture you with dad.’

‘I said, “I was with your dad six years. Trust me, we had a laugh and bantered together, we did.”

She expressed her disbelief by saying, “I honestly can’t picture Dad behaving in such a manner.” To which I responded, “Yes, that was indeed his character. We shared some good times and laughter together.

It’s interesting to note that she finds it hard to accept that wherever he went, it was always us – him, me, and the children. We would frequently spend time together as a family.

As a devoted family member, I don’t embark on those activities solely for Pete. Instead, Pete and I engage in them jointly, as part of our family unit. If we had children like you, they would be included in our shared experiences as well.

As a lifestyle aficionado, I must say that Emily has my admiration. In fact, I’m thrilled to see him with her. There’s something about her demeanor that exudes class and elegance, which seems fitting for the person he’s chosen. Frankly, it would feel odd if he were to pursue someone like me in comparison.

Katie, who mentioned they no longer communicate, discussed the genuine cause behind her divorce from Peter.

For a while, there were frequent whispers about the reasons behind the breakup between the glamour model and her former partner. It was often suggested that their separation stemmed from her strong bond with equestrian Andrew Gould, who specializes in dressage.

In an interview on Paul C Brunson’s podcast “We Need To Talk”, she stated that their relationship ended because he suspected her of being romantically involved with her dressage rider, but in reality, she had never been intimate with him. She simply kept her horse at his place, and found joy in doing so, while he was already married.

However, when my relationship with Pete ended due to his frequent assertions of being overwhelmed and tired, such as “That’s it. I’ve had enough. I’ve had enough,” I reached a breaking point where I exclaimed, “I guess we should get divorced.” I distinctly recall that day because shortly after, I traveled to the Maldives with our children.

On that particular day, I found myself at the airport, where the incident was broadcasted on Sky News. The separation wasn’t mutual at all. Subsequently, I issued a statement expressing my desire to stay with Pete, stating that it was actually Pete who was choosing to part ways. To this very moment, Pete and I have never had a conversation about the matter.

The issue is being handled by lawyers, so I haven’t had a direct conversation with him, but if we had the chance, I believe we could have resolved it amicably. However, circumstances kept us from meeting.

Following the announcement of their separation, Peter expressed his disappointment when he learned that Katie had traveled with their children to the Maldives villa – a place where they had spent their honeymoon back in 2005.

He shared with the Daily Star, “Being separated from my children is tearing my heart apart. It’s devastating me – I’m truly heartbroken.

As a lifestyle expert, I can personally attest that navigating co-parenting can be one of life’s greatest challenges. However, in the process, I’ve discovered that you truly learn what people are made of, and my journey has been a tough one indeed. Yet, it’s undeniably sad at times.

On their reality series, Katie and Peter (the former spouses), openly discussed and frequently displayed their jealous quarrels due to their truthful nature.

To be completely honest, it took me aback, much like many others in their massive fan community, when they made the decision to part ways. Even I, for one, wasn’t prepared for this turn of events, just as it seemed Katie might have felt the same.

She expressed that when we parted ways, it wasn’t a choice she made herself. She put it this way: ‘Pete is the very essence of my love and existence. We share children, and I am deeply saddened and disillusioned by his decision to split up and divorce me, as I wedded him for a lifetime.’

‘I didn’t prefer this outcome, as it seems the decision has already been made without my input. I won’t be providing any additional comments or participating in interviews about our split, but let me make it clear that my affection for Pete will never fade.’
