Johnny Depp claims he was betrayed by some of his closest friends who deserted him after he was accused of abuse by ex-wife Amber Heard

In simpler terms, Johnny Depp recently expressed that he felt abandoned by his dearest companions following allegations of domestic abuse made by his former spouse, Amber Heard.

In 2015, Jonny wed Amber, whom he had met during the filming of The Rum Diary (2011). Unfortunately, they separated the subsequent year, and their divorce was made official in 2017.

In the year 2016, during their divorce proceedings, the well-known actor, aged 62 at the time, vigorously refuted the allegations that were brought up by Amber, who was then 39 years old.

It was claimed that the couple had a violent relationship, causing a ripple effect of surprise across their professional circle. As a result, they were temporarily removed from ongoing projects.

In the Fantastic Beasts series, Johnny’s role was taken over by Mads Mikkelsen, but Amber believes she missed out on chances because of negative reactions on social media.

Apart from losing his job, Johnny has asserted that some close friends who had attended his kids’ birthdays also failed to support him when needed.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, Johnny voiced his criticism towards the behavior of three of his closest companions, asserting that he served as a guinea pig for the #MeToo movement.

He mentioned that there are a few individuals who have wronged him. Interestingly, these three individuals attended his children’s parties, even going as far as to throw his children up in the air.

I get it, there are those who couldn’t back me, for them, the toughest decision was choosing what was right.

For three decades, Johnny had been represented by Tracey Jacobs, a former agent who was let go in 2016. During the widely covered defamation trial, she publicly criticized him.

Tracey stated that Johnny’s reputation for arriving late to work was a reason why studios seemed unwilling to employ him.

He remarked about Tracy: “My loyalty is something no one ever doubts. For thirty years, I had one representative, yet she testified in court about my challenging nature.

At the conclusion of the Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard trial in June 2022, Johnny was met with a surge of fan support within the Fairfax County courthouse in Virginia.

Johnny and Amber’s high-profile legal troubles started after he initiated a libel case against the publisher of The Sun and its editor, Dan Wootton, due to a 2018 article implying he was abusive towards his wife.

2020 saw a verdict by the High Court of Justice favoring The Sun’s publisher and Mr. Wootton, but that wasn’t the end of the story for me, the diehard fan. In 2019, I found myself taking up arms as Johnny Depp, filing a lawsuit against Amber Heard due to defamatory statements in an op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post in 2018.

In 2020, she filed a lawsuit against her former husband, and the court proceedings started in April 2022. After two months, the jury rendered their decision, siding with Johnny.

At that moment, the star responded to the verdict and conveyed that the jury had effectively restored his life. He was deeply moved by the decision.

He additionally stated, “Honesty was a debt I owed to my kids and everyone who stood by me faithfully. Now, I find solace knowing I’ve fulfilled that duty.

Since then, Amber has relocated and now resides in Spain. There, she is raising her trio of children, which includes a daughter who was born through surrogacy in 2021, as well as twins, about whom she shared the news in May.

After the trial, Johnny has come back to the silver screen, much like Jeanne du Barry (2023) has done.

In October of last year, I made it clear that I harbor no resentment towards anyone amidst the legal turbulence and contentious divorce proceedings with Heard.

He confided in The Hollywood Reporter that at this moment, he could easily recall numerous critical articles and the resistance he faced from everyone, along with the repetitive comments about his success far exceeding normal boundaries, and an abundance of related issues.

I have a clear recollection of everything. I’ve experienced every bit of it. Some parts weren’t the most pleasant, while others were downright funny. At times, it felt absolutely absurd.

In simpler terms, the actor stated, “What occurred is that it merely existed, and it continues to exist as such. Therefore, to me, it transpired. I’ve gained knowledge from it.

Regardless of whether it’s enjoying a snow cone or taking your dog for a walk, there’s always something new to discover and learn.

Afterward, Johnny clarified, ‘I harbor no negative sentiments towards anyone. I don’t possess a deep well of animosity, as animosity arises from care. Why burden myself with such weight?’

Johnny is preparing to hit the big screen once again for the upcoming thriller Day Drinker.

In the director’s chair for this film is Marc Webb, with Penelope Cruz, Madelyn Cline, Manu Rios, and Javier Botet all lending their talent to the cast.

A mysterious outsider develops an unusual friendship with a mourning bartender who suffered a tragic loss, as their paths cross in unanticipated fashion, according to IMDb.

Recently, a first glance image emerged featuring Johnny Depp, sporting a different appearance as he prepares to slip into the role – with noticeable gray hair and a beard now part of the package.

When asked by The Sunday Times if he harbors any regrets, the actor candidly responded, “I don’t regret anything – after all, there’s nothing we can change about our past meal from last week.
