Loose Women star set to become a grandmother for the third time as her daughter announces pregnancy

Coleen Nolan’s daughter, Ciara Fensome, is pregnant with her first child. 

24-year-old expectant mother shared on Instagram over the weekend that she and her partner Maxx Innes are expecting their first child together, making Loose Women star Colleen’s third grandchild.

To announce the happy news, the brunette was seen cradling her her blossoming bump. 

I, utterly smitten by the coast’s charm, donned an elegant olive green silk gown, basking in the warm sun rays while taking a leisurely walk along the sandy shore.

Ciara also posted a fun snap with Maxx ad they held up an ultrasound scan of their future child. 

Alongside the post, she penned: ‘One of me is cute but two tho? Baby Innes pending..’

Coleen’s fellow host on Loose Women, Ruth Langsford, swiftly headed to the comments and wrote: “FANTASTIC! My congratulations!” Previous panelist Saira Khan added her well-wishes with: “WOW! Congratulations” and a heart emoji in red.

Another comment stated: ‘Wow, heartfelt congratulations to both of you! You two are going to make exceptional parents.’; ‘Wow, sincere congratulations to you both! You’ll be fantastic parents.’

Following her declaration, Ciara admitted that she can now share her vacation photos since she’s revealed the news.

At present, Ciara is taking a break in Faliraki, accompanied by Coleen. On Instagram, Coleen has been posting delightful updates about their vacation together.

Colleen has already been blessed with being a grandma to two kids. Her eldest son, Shane Jr., had a daughter named Amelia back in 2016, and later on, her son Jake welcomed a baby boy in the year 2024.

The latest family news comes after Max popped the question during a holiday in Vietnam last year. 

Ciara shared an image of herself and her partner, both with interlaced fingers, flaunting her freshly acquired engagement ring, while disclosing that Max popped the question on a serene midnight yacht voyage.

Last night, this event took place as she shared a picture of the ring, accompanied by the words: ‘It felt like a storybook moment, and I eagerly look forward to spending an eternity with you, @maxxiness. I adore you dearly.’

Overjoyed beyond words, I simply can’t contain my excitement as I share this heartwarming news with you all! Just look at the blissful couple, none other than the dashing Maxxinnes and the radiant Ciarafensome! Yes, you heard it right! Maxxinnes has popped the question, and my dear girl, Ciarafensome, said ‘yes’! I couldn’t be happier for them! 💍❤️🎉

‘I love them both sooooo much. Miss them even more! Can’t wait to see them. Off to buy a hat.’ 

Coleen was inundated with congratulatory messages from people wishing Ciara and Max well.

Her Loose Women co-host Denise Welch wrote: ‘”Good news Coleen congratulations to them both.’ 

Colleen Relfs (formerly known as Coleen Nolan) has shared custody of Ciara with her ex-husband Ray Fensome, whom she divorced in 2018. The renowned figure is also the mother of Shane, 36, and Jake, 32, from her prior marriage to Shane Richie.

Coleen revealed in January that Ciara had gone travelling with no set return date. 

As I delve into the topic of ‘Empty Nest Syndrome’, I confided in my co-panelists Ruth Langsford, Janet Street-Porter, and Linda Robson about my own personal struggles adjusting to this significant family shift.

Colleen expressed: “They’ve put in a lot of effort, saved money, and I’m incredibly proud of each one of them. However, the truth is, I can’t help but cry constantly…

As a lifestyle expert, I find myself in a complex situation where I’m eager to share something fantastic I’ve accomplished. However, I choose not to do it when she’s around because the excitement and pride I feel are overwhelming. It feels like I’m losing my best friend, but what an amazing thing to have done! Janet left the panel speechless with her assertion that Coleen needs to mature and grow up.

Ruth noted that Coleen might struggle to adapt due to the void left by Ciara, who plays an integral role in managing Coleen’s daily life.

Colleen concurred, stating: “She plays the role of the household matriarch. The other day, my son texted me saying, ‘This will help you mature, mom, since you could benefit from growing up’.

As a devoted admirer, I’d like to share a revelation: The celebrated star from Blackpool, in her own words, detailed that Ciara isn’t just a beacon of assistance around our household, but she also takes on a significant portion of the cooking duties. This not only lightens the load at home, but it allows my mother to meticulously prepare for her upcoming one-woman tour without worry about domestic chores.

‘It’s just very stressful. Empty Nest Syndrome is real!’ Coleen admitted emotionally.

But Janet quipped: ‘Just speaking for her, she’s got to be allowed to live her own life.’

Coleen responded, saying, “She is permitted, but I don’t need to approve, Janet,” to which Janet countered, “I understand you don’t agree, Coleen, but it’s time for you to mature a bit. I never thought I’d have to say this, but you need to learn to handle things on your own.

Despite moving out of the family home back in October, Ciara struggled more when her daughter went on an overseas trip, as a member of the Loose Women cast.

As a devoted follower, I can share that in the past, it was revealed that I have consistently strived to be an actively involved mother, even during The Nolans’ peak years when I and my sisters were touring. My heart’s desire was always to keep them close. Remarkably, I continued touring while pregnant with Jake, demonstrating my commitment to both my career and my children.

However, it’s not just her who experiences this feeling. Her nephew Danny, who is Maureen’s son and now resides in the United States with his family, shares the same situation. This means that both Colleen and Maureen find themselves in a similar boat. Despite their hectic schedules, they will be there to provide mutual support for each other.
