Nick Cannon leaves fans stunned after dad of 12 forgets key piece of information about his brood
As a lifestyle guide, I must confess that even I, too, was left amazed when the father of twelve, Nick Cannon, momentarily slipped up and overlooked a crucial detail about his expansive family.
On The Masked Singer, a show hosted by a 44-year-old man, he recently shared his thoughts on fatherhood during an interview on the Really Good Podcast with Bobbi Althoff.
When Bobbi questioned Mariah Carey’s former spouse about the numerous children he has and if he could list them all, he found himself momentarily speechless.
He often finds himself in difficult situations,” Cannon explained, though momentarily he struggled to recollect all his kids’ names, overlooking a couple unintentionally.
‘I know all of them, but like. Here we go. I’ll lay them all out for you,’ Cannon said.
Could you ensure I remain truthful? Here are some names: Roc, Roe, Golden, Powerful, Rise, Onyx, Legendary, Zion, Zillion, Zen. Can you tell me how many are still missing from the list?

Althoff noted, as Nick put it, “I’m lacking two.” Specifically, he was referring to the absence of his beloved daughters, Beautiful and Halo.
Athoff also asked Cannon why he had so many kids.
Instead of saying, “‘Why do I have so many kids? I have a king complex,’ Cannon replied,” you could rephrase it as: “Cannon explained, ‘I have lots of children because I feel like a king.’ He added, ‘You know, among Black men, we often get greeted as if we are kings.’
‘I really think I’m the king,’ Nick, who has 12 kids with six different women, said.
In another phrasing, the conversation went like this: ‘Are kings known for having many children?’ Althoff questioned, and Cannon replied, ‘Yes.’
In a recent installment of their podcast “We Playin’ Spades,” hosts Ryan Clark (former NFL player) and Courtney Bee found themselves steering an unexpected discussion towards Ryan’s personal experience with a vasectomy.
As an overly enthusiastic admirer, I couldn’t help but notice when my co-presenter Courtney mused aloud about the apparent surge in Black men opting for vasectomies lately. She pondered whether this was a fresh trend emerging on the scene.
Nick seemed to experience a clear realization as he, somewhat shyly, acknowledged that undergoing a vasectomy was an “act of responsibility.

Despite him now conceding that it was the shrewd move for one in his esteemed position, I can’t help but feel that he remains unyielding, still holding onto his convictions as a die-hard fan.
‘I’m just — I’m not done [having children],’ he added.
In due course, they inquired about whether he might consider having another child with one of the ladies who had previously given birth to his kids.
‘I don’t know. That’s the thing. I leave it to the Lord,’ he replied.
In a conversation with Dr. Laura Berman on her “Language of Love” podcast in 2023, Nick had expressed that he considers such things as lending to a higher power, typically referred to as God. He also described his children as extraordinary events or phenomena, using the term ‘miracles.’
In my expertise, I’ve come across individuals who, while not claiming divine intervention, believe that their family size is guided by a higher power. They trust that this mysterious force will signal when it’s time to cease expanding their brood.
Nick previously spoke about the difficulties about spending enough time with all of his children.
Last November, he playfully stated that he was a “kept man during Thanksgiving.” In a December 2022 episode of The Checkup With Dr. Agus, he confessed that his greatest remorse stemmed from not having enough time to be with all his children.
‘One, ’cause I’m constantly working, and two, because I’m just spread thin,’ he explained.
Beyond my twins Moroccan and Monroe, who I co-parent with my former spouse Mariah Carey, I am also a father to sons Golden Sagon and Rise Messiah Cannon, as well as a daughter named Powerful Queen. These beautiful children are the fruit of my relationship with Brittany Bell.
They (He and Abby De La Rosa) are the proud parents of twins named Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, along with their daughter, Beautiful Zeppelin.
They co-parent their son Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi (from Selling Sunset), and they also have a daughter named Onyx Ice Cole together with LaNisha Cole.
Nick had two kids with Alyssa Scott; their eldest son Zen unfortunately passed away at the age of five months in December 2021 due to a brain tumor.
In December of 2022, their second child, a daughter called Halo Marie Cannon, entered the world. This means that Nick hasn’t had another child for over two years, which is quite a change from the frequent arrivals of children at the beginning of the decade when multiple were welcomed each year.
