Megan McKenna reveals what it is REALLY like honeymooning with a baby as she shares an insight into her romantic holiday with husband Oliver Burke

Megan McKenna offers a peek into her honeymoon experience, explaining the unique aspects of taking a newborn along for the trip.

32-year-old ex-star of TOWIE (The Only Way is Essex) recently got married to Oliver Burke, aged 27, in a heartwarming ceremony held this month. They exchanged vows surrounded by their cherished ones at the enchanting Grantley Hall located in North Yorkshire, after uttering “I do”.

Following the arrival of their firstborn son, Landon, in October, 2024, they’ve since celebrated their maiden marital vacation together.

On Friday, Megan shared a delightful video clip on Instagram, offering a peek into her family’s honeymoon experience, complete with their lively toddler.

In the video, you can observe that the pair alternately held baby Landon while trying to savor some intimate dinners outside.

Additionally, they shared several videos capturing moments of them strolling their baby in a stroller through the upscale hotel.

Alongside the clip, she penned: ‘A beautiful night on our honeymoon with a very hectic voiceover ♥️

Due to Landon’s bedtime, we’ve seldom ventured out for dinners during our vacation since it’s a challenge to do so.

Attempting to put him to bed in the stroller and feeding him dinner at 8 pm significantly disrupted his entire nighttime sleep. Now, we have perfected our routine.

At 6, I serve dinner to Landon. After that, we bathe him, prepare him, and head out for dinner at 7. We usually finish our meal quickly, but oh well.

I give Landon his dinner at 6, then get him ready for bed afterwards. We go out to dinner at 7 and have to be back in the room by 8:30. Our dinner is often eaten pretty fast, but that’s just how it goes.

Additionally, they’ve given a peek behind the scenes of their wedding by posting their wedding video on Instagram, which was produced professionally.

On that memorable occasion, Oliver appeared quite emotional, even shedding a few tears, as he impatiently waited for his future spouse to approach him down the aisle.

She looked elegant as she donned a bespoke flowing white gown from Maison Peter Langner.

The dress she wore had a full, pleated skirt that trailed behind, an extended train, and a rigid corset top with visible sewing bones, adorned with intricate macramé lace roses hand-stitched as decoration.

The long veil resembled a cathedral, delicately falling and embellished with three distinct types of French Chantilly lace. These intricate patterns gently faded into a subtle gradient towards its center.

While the Scottish professional footballer was looking quite sharp in a sleek black tuxedo, he tenderly cradled his son Landon, who was equally dapper in a tiny black suit, in his arms.

Megan and Oliver offered a peek at the luxurious location, boasting exquisitely designed gardens, a room embellished with an ornate chandelier, and a bar serving champagne and cocktails.

After exchanging their heartfelt promises, the couple passionately kissed, surrounded by their loved ones. Then, as a joyous finale, they were all drenched with confetti.

At her wedding reception, Megan gracefully donned a stunning white evening dress, adorned with exquisite sleeves and delicate pearl embellishments.

The beauty looked on cloud nine as she shared a romantic first dance with her husband. 

After exchanging yet another heartfelt, passionate kiss, the pair proceeded to slice their stunningly tall, seven-layer cake amidst their joyful wedding guests.

For the grand celebration, the joyous pair splurged generously on every detail – from the elaborate decorations to the top-tier music group and entertainers. They danced the night away well past midnight.

Accompanying the delightful video, Megan posted: ‘For all eternity and without end. 07/06/25 A true-life fairy tale. @tynegate_films.'”

At the end of May, the newly-parent pair, having given birth to their firstborn Landon in October, celebrated both a bachelorette party (hen) and a bachelor party (stag) together.

Megan wore a chic white shirt dress, complete with a veil and a bride-to-be sash.

During the holiday celebration with friends and family, Oliver chose to wear a black T-shirt paired with stylish white linen pants.

She captioned the post: ‘It’s nearly time… also my family are to cute, thanks guys I love you.’

Megan mentioned that she and Oliver descended for the night while a ‘Chapel of Love’ tune was playing, with the video to follow shortly.

In March, Megan hinted about their upcoming wedding, as she tried on several wedding gowns following a three-week separation from Oliver.

In June 2023, following a delightful five-month courtship, Oli knelt down after their enchanting boat ride in Montenegro.

Megan couldn’t help but express her enthusiasm, stating how thrilling it was for the couple as they neared their marriage, since she needed to be remeasured for her wedding gowns due to losing a few pounds.

In September, Megan chose to relocate from the UK to Germany, joining her fiancé Olly who is a footballer. She made the decision to have her baby in Germany.

A Scottish player takes on roles as a right wing or striker for the German football squad, known as Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga.

Earlier on Instagram, Megan shared: ‘Can you believe it? I’ll be heading off to Germany soon. You might recall my stories from yesterday about packing up.’

And I believe some of you may have assumed I was about to give birth, but that’s not the case. Let’s cross our fingers and hope I won’t actually go into labor, as I’m currently having my baby in Germany.

It seems some of you have been wondering, “Whatever happened to Olly?” I’d like to clarify that Olly is currently residing in Germany, and most of our belongings have been stored away for a few months.

It’s quite unexpected that I’m relocating to another country, but truthfully, I’m thrilled about it. It’s clear this move will bring about a significant transformation in my life.

Megan disclosed that they needed to switch hospitals at the eleventh hour, and it was quite chaotic and hectic.

Initially, it was intended for Olly to arrive by plane before Megan’s due date. Yet, Megan had concerns that he might miss the birth of their newborn.
