Daisy Lowe is married! Model ties the knot with long-term partner Jordan Saul in low-key ceremony

Daisy Lowe tied the knot with her longtime partner, Jordan Saul, in a private wedding ceremony held in London on a recent Thursday.

36-year-old model, daughter of Pearl Lowe and Gavin Rossdale, along with a 31-year-old property developer, exchanged wedding vows in the presence of their dearest loved ones.

Following the event, they made their way to a famous Italian eatery in East London called Brutto, where they joyously feasted on plates of pasta and tiramisu to mark the occasion.

Images posted by Daisy’s sister, Betty Goffey (aged 18), depicted an engaging dinner gathering illuminated by candles, taking place at an outdoor Italian restaurant.

In one captivating snapshot, you’ll find me gracefully adorned in a humble, off-the-shoulder white dress, my hair artfully styled half-up. My dear friend, Betty, aptly titled the image, ‘The Bride’, in her signature succinct manner.

Earlier that morning, another photo posted by mum Pearl Lowe depicted the family standing together for a photograph on a peaceful residential street prior to the wedding ceremony.

At the joyous event, Daisy was accompanied by her musical mother Pearl, her stepfather Danny Goffey, as well as her half-siblings Betty, Alfie, and Frankie. Her godmother, musician Zoe Grace, was also present. Similarly, Jordan’s immediate family members were part of the gathering.

Daisy didn’t have her biological father present, who is Gavin Rossdale, the lead singer of Bush. She found out he was her real father during her teenage years following a paternity test.

However, there’s no lingering tension. Instead, they maintain a friendly relationship, and it’s anticipated that he will be present at a grander wedding reception in Somerset this coming summer.

2020, during the lockdown period, former Strictly contestant Daisy and Jordan crossed paths as they each took their canines out for a stroll.

The couple now share a two-year-old daughter, Ivy.

While the Thursday ceremony was a private affair, Daisy has big plans for their summer wedding. 

The family plans to mark the occasion once more, as Pearl and Danny have resided in Somerset since their move from Camden back in 2005, and it’s now Daisy and Jordan who are establishing themselves there.

Daisy said: ‘I’m moving to, and marrying in Somerset. That’s how much I love it.’

Daisy said she is currently deep in planning for a sustainable yet glamorous countryside wedding. 

1. Ivy is going to serve as the little floral attendant, while Daisy intends to match her outfit with her daughter and the bridesmaids. (Informal)

2. Ivy will play the role of the flower girl, and Daisy wants to harmonize her appearance with her daughter and fellow bridesmaids. (More formal)

3. Ivy is going to be the little one scattering petals, and Daisy plans on coordinating her ensemble with her daughter and the other bridesmaids. (Casual)

In this arrangement, it’s Jordan who manages the logistical aspects, a role that Daisy affectionately refers to as his being her ‘soulmate.’ Meanwhile, Daisy takes care of the creative details.

Daisy mentioned, ‘It’s great having my mom to consult on styling. Her sense of style is simply outstanding.’

While I’m not experiencing any immediate pressure, the concept of it potentially surpassing my 18th birthday party, which was simply spectacular, definitely sparks excitement within me.

2007 was quite an extraordinary year for her: her parents organized a grand birthday celebration for her, featuring a performance by the band Dirty Pretty Things. To make it even more special, they transported guests to the countryside for this event. Her 21st birthday, celebrated at Babington House, was no less spectacular. She appeared in an Ice Queen outfit, and Alexa Chung and Pixie Geldof were among the attendees on her guest list.

Daisy and Jordan plan to temporarily lease an eco-friendly cottage in Somerset before finding the ideal plot to construct their perfect home, featuring composting worm bins, recycled water systems, and a heat-efficient system.

‘We don’t want to just build it without any footing,’ Daisy said. 

The significance of community cannot be overstated. While I hold a fondness for vintage homes, Jordan’s argument that one should prioritize environmental concerns when it comes to housing resonated with me. As a result, I found myself open to the idea of building an eco-friendly dwelling instead.

Despite juggling a toddler, wedding prep and a house move, Daisy seems more grounded than ever. 

She expressed that her life has often followed an unconventional path, such as getting married and having a child in reverse order, but this was exactly how she had envisioned things. Her primary concern was ensuring Ivy felt a strong sense of security in their bond.

During her twenties, Daisy was involved with several well-known individuals such as Mark Ronson, actor Matt Smith, and the lead singer of Hurts, Theo Hutchcraft.
