Summary

  • JOOPITER’s sacai x SEVENTEEN auction raised $337,500 USD with all lots sold
  • 14 exclusive LABUBU figures set new auction record for the plush collectible
  • Proceeds benefit UNESCO, supported by SEVENTEEN and Pharrell Williams’ as Goodwill Ambassadors

Jupiter proudly confirms that its sacai x SEVENTEEN auction has been successful. This auction wrapped up with a white-glove sale, meaning all items were sold. The core of the auction consisted of 14 unique, customizable LABUBU figurines adorned in outfits designed by sacai.

As a thrilled fan, I’m excited to share that the 14 LABUBU figures from the POP MART x How2work Green Edition collaboration with Kasing Lung’s The Monsters series, specifically the SEVENTEEN-inspired tan onesies and gold/silver accessorized plush toys, collectively raked in an impressive $337,500 USD at auction. This record-breaking sale marks the highest price ever for a LABUBU plush toy at auction!

The 13 pieces, each styled uniquely with tan onesies and distinctive gold and silver accessories around the neck, are a tribute to the SEVENTEEN band members. The 14th figure, a special edition in a secret colorway inspired by one of Pharrell Williams’ favorite sacai designs, fetched a staggering $31,250 USD at the auction.

Besides some notable items in the auction, there was a J-17-S T-shirt autographed by K-pop group SEVENTEEN and a unique leather jacket designed by sacai, which was featured in their “Bad Influence” music video. The money raised from this sale will be donated to UNESCO, an organization that SEVENTEEN supports as Youth Goodwill Ambassadors, alongside Pharrell Williams who serves as the Arts Education and Entrepreneurship Goodwill Ambassador.
