Newly single Georgia Love sets tongues wagging as she steps out with male pal at opening night of Hedwig and the Angry Inch in Melbourne after split from husband Lee Elliot
Georgia Love has set tongues wagging after a cosy outing with a male friend on Wednesday night.
On the opening night of the musical “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” in Melbourne, the freshly-single lead of The Bachelorette was spotted with her friend, Gareth Thomson.
The duo stood side by side at the red carpet event, snuggling closely while they savored their evening out in the city.
Georgia, the former reality TV personality, posted more peeks from their night at the theater on social media. In these photos, it appears they were quite close, even taking a selfie together from their theater seats.
Later on, they ventured into the city, snapping a picture of the two of them labeled: ‘Mum and Dad took a weekday evening excursion, and here’s the proof.’

Gareth is involved in entertainment as well; his Instagram profile reveals that he wrote “Schapelle, Schapelle – The Musical,” a production inspired by the life of Schapelle Corby.
After hearing that Georgia and her former husband, Lee Elliot, plan to sell their family home in Melbourne at auction.
As a fervent admirer looking back on events, I recall the notable duo who crossed paths during the 2016 season of The Bachelorette. After sharing their journey together up until this year when they decided to part ways, they’ve now put their roomy Hampton East residence on the market, with a flexible asking price between $1.5 million and $1.58 million.
In 2021, Love and Elliot, a couple who separated in February, purchased a stylish, modern two-story townhouse for approximately $1.35 million.
Love and Elliot proudly showcased their recent acquisition of the property, which had been up for sale between $1.3 million and $1.35 million, on social media in October 2021.
They posted a sequence of photos depicting themselves outside their recently purchased house, where a ‘for sale’ sign was visible.
Four months after announcing their separation, news has emerged that Love and Elliot, a couple married for four years, have sold their shared home.
The couple broke the news of their separation with identical posts on Instagram in February.

Following nine delightful years, among which four were spent as a married couple, they’ve chosen the extremely tough path of separating, doing so with deep affection.
Over the course of our time together, we’ve built something truly unique – a bond that we’ll forever hold dear for the moments, affection, and joy it’s given us.
‘There is no drama, no bad blood’ the emotional statement continued.
They’ve evolved separately, yet they maintain a profound respect and affection for one another.
Let’s continue our friendship, and we kindly ask for your understanding and respect for our privacy during this new phase. We truly appreciate it.
It had been over four months since people last saw Georgia and Lee together, leading many to speculate that they might have parted ways.
Over the Christmas season, they celebrated separately with their individual families. Later, Georgia traveled to New York City for a vacation, leaving Lee behind.
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I too have observed intriguing instances that sparked curiosity among many. Recently, it was noted that they appeared together without their symbolic wedding bands, inciting a flurry of discussions online about the possible end to their bond. However, as always, it’s essential to remember that we should respect their privacy and wait for official confirmation before jumping to conclusions.

2016’s season of The Bachelorette brought together Georgia, a past television newscaster, and tradie Lee. They developed feelings for each other during the show and Lee was ultimately selected as Georgia’s preferred partner.
In 2021, they got married at the Frogmore Creek Winery, which is located outside Hobart, and then held an outdoor reception at the Shene Distillery.
Last year, the lovebirds were supposed to get married in Italy, but they had to call off the wedding because of travel restrictions related to Covid-19.
The following year, they occupied a townhouse in Hampton East, and this property will be going up for auction on June 21.
