Major US music star cancels European tour as they tell fans ‘it wasn’t an easy decision’
Just a few days prior to his scheduled performances, well-known U.S. country musician Hardy announced the cancellation of his upcoming European tour.
Originally from Philadelphia, the 34-year-old entertainer was set to kick off a string of performances in Copenhagen, Denmark on Thursday, marking his debut as a headliner in Europe.
However, fans were saddened on Tuesday when the singer behind the hit “Wait In The Truck” shared on Instagram that the upcoming leg of his Jim Bob Tour had been cancelled.
Hardy posted: ‘I have decided to cancel the European leg of the JIM BOB TOUR.
In a tough call, I found myself compelled to take this step, considering the wellbeing of my band, team, and most importantly, my family. Rest assured, my affection for each one of you remains unchanged, and I’ll return when circumstances allow it.

‘Refunds will automatically be issued by your point of purchase.’
I’ve been eagerly anticipating Hardy’s tour schedule, which included performances in the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, and Ireland. Unfortunately, it looks like those shows won’t be happening anymore, as he’s had to cancel them. It’s truly a heartbreak for me as a die-hard fan!
Previously, the country musician had to cancel a string of performances in 2023 due to his recovery from a severe car accident that inflicted grievous wounds upon him.
About a year ago, Hardy and four others were on their way back from a performance in Bristol, Tennessee, when their tour bus flipped over.
The 34-year-old cited ‘serious anxiety’ as the reason for the cancelled shows in October 2023.
‘I need to be honest with everyone for a second,’ Hardy posted on his social media.
Over the past year, I’ve been grappling with intense anxiety due to the bus accident, and for the last fortnight, it has managed to dominate my daily existence.
‘It’s caused me to suffer many panic attacks which have landed me in hospital.

‘I need a moment to focus on me and make myself better for my wife, family and you. the fans.’
Back in March, I, an over-the-moon fan, was thrilled to learn that my beloved idol, Hardy (born Michael Wilson Hardy), had taken on the most rewarding role of fatherhood! Alongside his wonderful wife, Rosie Ryan Hardy, they welcomed their precious little girl into the world.
They shared the news several months ago that they were going to have a baby, as Hardy wrote: “We’ve been cherishing this special secret just for us. Baby Hardy due in February 2025.
Ryan expressed his gratitude to everyone for the heartwarming messages and affectionate sentiments you’ve showered upon our newborn, he said.
I’m absolutely thrilled and elated to share this wonderful news! We’re on our way to parenthood, which feels incredibly exciting! What a joyful journey ahead!
In the year 2018, their romantic journey commenced as he messaged her privately on Instagram, following an appearance of hers on his ‘For You’ feed.
In a conversation I recently had with People, I shared that the topic had turned to San Diego and her attending Ole Miss, which sparked memories of my own family’s connection to Mississippi State.

‘We kept in contact until I had a show nearby her school and told her I’d love to meet her there.’
When the day of his show arrived, Ryan said she ‘dragged’ her roommates with her to meet Hardy.
Ryan expressed that after meeting, there simply wasn’t anyone else for us. We never considered others. It was just effortless between us.
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I can tell you that after three enchanting years together, the melodious artist proposed to me last year, in 2021, at none other than the captivating Lyric Oxford Theater in Mississippi. It was here, three years prior, where our paths first crossed in person.
In October 2022, the loving pair exchanged vows at a charming wedding ceremony in Nashville, their current home city.
