Pusha T takes aim at Travis Scott in the latest Clipse single, “So Be It.”

In a collaborative song, Push and Malice smoothly flow over beats crafted by Pharrell. Notably, Push explicitly challenges La Flame in a passionate verse. He raps, “You wept before me, you perished before me/Calabasas snatched your woman and your dignity from me/I heard UTOPIA had relocated just down the street/Her lipstick was sizzling, she didn’t need you to feed,” referring to Travis Scott, whose latest album is “UTOPIA”, and hinting at his split with Kylie Jenner, with whom he shares children.

The member of the group Clipse stated that he has some issues with Scott, which he revealed in an interview with GQ. He explained that the conflict started when Scott played his album UTOPIA at Louis Vuitton HQ, where both Pharrell and Clipse were working. Push clarified that the version of “Meltdown” – a song that originally featured a verse from Drake criticizing him – that was played on that day did not contain Drake’s verse.

Pusha T wasn’t pleased when Drake’s verse was added to a song after Kanye West played it for Pharrell. He accused West of being disloyal, taking sides only when it suits him. “He does this often,” Pusha said. “He doesn’t have any favorites. He’ll do this with anyone. He did it with ‘Sicko Mode’…” referring to the collaboration between Future, Metro Boomin and Kendrick Lamar on the diss track that fueled Drake and Pusha’s feud. “He doesn’t have any favorites or loyalty to anyone. He’ll hop around whatever he thinks is popular or cling onto whatever he thinks is popular.

He stated, “That’s where my problem arises – you see, buddy, please refrain from approaching here with such behavior, because fundamentally, I don’t operate in the same way as you do. To me, that was simply equivalent to… He’s a man who sells his affections. He’s a man who sells his affections.

Alongside the debut of “So Be It,” Clipse also disclosed an alternative cover for their upcoming album titled “Let God Sort Em Out“. This unveiling encompasses a line of merchandise inspired by Verdy, including branded T-shirts, graphics with Vick, as well as vinyl LPs, CDs, and cassettes.
