Kylie Jenner’s daughter Stormi has hilarious reaction to her iconic ‘King’ era
Prior to motherhood in 2018, Kylie Jenner held the throne on Instagram as ‘Queen Kylie’ – a legendary fashion period that ran parallel with the prosperity of her lip kit empire.
In the span of 2014 to 2017, also known as her ‘King Kylie’ phase, the 27-year-old beauty tycoon often sported vibrant wigs and daring outfits that accentuated her figure during this period.
On Monday, Jenner, who prefers a more authentic style these days, chose to reveal her seven-year-old daughter Stormi what she used to look like during that period for the first time.
On TikTok, Kylie shared a video featuring Stormi’s response when Kylie displayed a 2016 photograph of herself sporting a bright blue wig, a red mini dress, and high boots up to her thighs.
Stormi, one of the two children Kylie co-parents with her former partner Travis Scott, was taken aback by her mother’s daring choice in attire.
Kylie wondered, “What’s got you all surprised?” To which Stormi responded, “Did you change the color of your hair in that picture?
Kylie explained to Stormi that it was only a wig and that she ‘used to love wearing wigs.’
Looking at Stormi, standing next to Kylie with her hands on her hips, there was an exclamation of surprise: ‘A blue wig and a red ensemble?’
Kylie acknowledged it was not her best fashion moment and Stormi enthusiastically agreed.
‘It’s not a good combo,’ the seven-year-old said. ‘I know,’ Kylie replied.
In the video, Kylie, noticeably without makeup, spontaneously switched the camera towards herself and then back to Stormi. At this moment, Stormi playfully commented to her viewers, “That’s what she gets!
The video concluded with Kylie Jenner sharing with her 57.8 million fans that she and Stormi were enjoying cherries in the kitchen of their Hidden Hills estate.

In September 2024, Kylie reappeared with her iconic blue wig, striking poses for a photoshoot right in her own garden.
The wig appeared incredibly lifelike, leading Khloe Kardashian, her older sister, to question in the comments if she had indeed changed her hair color.

Throughout the years, Kylie has sported numerous vibrant, attention-grabbing hair hues, but it’s her blue locks that are particularly synonymous with her ‘King Kylie’ phase.
