Reese Witherspoon’s nepo baby Ava Phillippe and her boyfriend announce major relationship news
Ava Phillippe, the daughter of Reese Witherspoon, has made a significant advancement in her connection with Dakota Brubaker.
A few weeks ago, the actress, aged 25, disclosed that she had started living with her partner, Dakota Brubaker, in a heartwarming TikTok post.
With enthusiastic responses, numerous social media users found themselves drawing attention to something slightly peculiar about the pair.
It appeared as though they strongly resembled Ava’s biological parents, A-list celebrities Reese Witherspoon (age 49) and Ryan Phillippe (age 50), who parted ways in 2006 following a 7-year marriage.
Instead of disregarding the internet discussions, the duo decided to engage with the similarities depicted in another video, where they were portrayed as surprised by one of her followers’ remarks.
‘Almost there. Welcome back, Reese and Ryan.’
Ava, who bears a striking resemblance to her Academy Award-winning mother, seemed taken aback, as Dakota, a talented musician, remained beside her.
As Ava waved her arms and shook her head, Dakota seemed less bothered.
As a devoted admirer, I couldn’t help but emulate Ryan from “Cruel Intentions” in 1999. I donned a pair of glasses and a black turtleneck sweater that mirrored his iconic attire.

Together, this duo has been creating a string of amusing videos on the shared platform, with one such video appearing on Dakota’s profile under the title ‘Point of View: You and your girlfriend finally move in together.’
Underneath the video, Mike Posner’s “Cooler than Me” was playing softly while Ava stealthily approached the man from behind and gave him a warm embrace.
‘You’ll be married in a year in the suburbs or something like that,’ he captioned the post.
Below the post, numerous TikTok users filled the comment section, often referring to them as the “new generation of Reese and Ryan.
In December, the couple made their relationship public on social media as Ava shared a picture taken in a photo booth, capturing a sweet kiss from her partner on the cheek.
Dakota posted the same picture and added one of them sitting beneath a Christmas tree.
It’s unclear how the couple met, but both attended the University of California at Berkeley.
In November 2024, they attended a gathering, which was organized by The Hollywood Reporter and Instagram specifically for content creators, as reported.
Dakota is a musician who also goes by the name Vindigo.
Initially, he was part of a band with that name, but in August 2024, he revealed that his venture had transitioned into a solo endeavor.
Ava has been building her acting career with appearances in Dr. Odyssey and Ransom Canyon.
Prior to Brubaker, she dated Owen Mahoney, another UC Berkeley student, from 2019 to early 2024.
Ava is the oldest kid born to Witherspoon and Phillippe. They also have a son named Deacon Reese Phillippe who is 21 years old together.
Witherspoon also shares her youngest, Tennessee James, with ex Jim Toth.
Meanwhile, Phillippe and his ex Alexis Knapp share a 13-year-old daughter, named Kai Knapp.
