The suspenseful, critically acclaimed police drama labeled as both “intense” and “hard to tear away from” has become popular in the UK recently.
2022 saw the debut of a series featuring Uma Thurman portraying Katherine Newman, a powerful American media figure. Tragically, her 21-year-old son gets abducted in this narrative.
In the plot summary, we find that five average British citizens stand accused of kidnapping the son of a well-known American media tycoon. Facing a race against time to clear their names, they strive to convince others of their innocence, yet doubts linger about both their guilt and honesty.
In addition to Thurman, we have Georgina Campbell from “Barbarian,” Kunal Nayyar known for “The Big Bang Theory,” Elyes Gabel who was in “Game of Thrones,” Lydia West from “It’s a Sin,” Elizabeth Henstridge of “Agents of SHIELD,” and Mandip Gill hailing from “Doctor Who” as part of the impressive lineup.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve just discovered that the thrilling series I’ve been eagerly waiting for has finally found a new streaming platform in the UK! Starting from June 15th, it’s now available on ITVX, so I can enjoy it without any additional costs.
At the moment, the program is popular on ITVX, ranking second on their list of most-watched shows.
Initially airing, this series that sadly got axed following only a single season, garnered a mix of acclaim and criticism. As I look back now, it’s sitting at an average rating of 48% on Rotten Tomatoes based on 29 professional evaluations.

According to Common Sense Media, this series is both engrossing and compulsively watchable, with a sharp focus on contemporary issues like surveillance and social media in today’s digital age.
According to The Guardian, if it only turns out to be a puzzle, where you let others piece it together and watch the final image emerge – that’s perfectly fine. It was never meant to offer anything more than that.
In other words, The Independent pointed out that effective TV storytelling requires using available techniques effectively, not simply chopping up a story and hoping audiences can piece it together.
Suspicion is streaming on ITVX.
Hey gamers, grab a peek at the latest addition to my collection! The first print magazine from Digital Spy is out – it’s called “British Comedy Legends”. You can snag a copy at your local newsagent or online for only £3.99. Laugh your way through this one, folks!
