Although neither Beyoncé nor Jay-Z are currently facing allegations, given their historical connections with Diddy, they have their lawyers ready and available should their names be mentioned during the court process.

For quite some time, it seems they cohabited the same universe as Puff Daddy, according to a confidant who is close to the influential duo, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Currently, Diddy stands accused of severe federal offenses such as sex trafficking and racketeering. Prosecutors have outlined an extensive network of suspected abuses that allegedly occurred over many years.

Despite neither Beyoncé nor Jay-Z being specifically accused, their names have come up in court hearings, causing apprehension within their camp.

A lawsuit claiming sexual assault and humiliation was brought against Sean “Diddy” Combs by Joseph Manzaro in April. He originally asserted that Beyoncé and Jay-Z were present at a party in 2015 where the alleged incident occurred.

The lawyers successfully proved the accusations false by presenting evidence showing that the couple was actually on holiday in Hawaii during that period.

According to the source, they were extremely disappointed about it. Initially, when it was fabricated, it received significant media attention. However, once it was exposed as false, very little follow-up coverage was given.

In a startling claim, lawyer Tony Buzbee asserted in a lawsuit filed in December 2024 that Jay-Z and Diddy were accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl at an MTV Video Music Awards party in 2000. However, this case did not lead to any criminal prosecution.

Jay-Z responded forcefully, accusing Buzbee of attempted extortion. 

In a statement, the rapper mentioned that another lawyer, Tony Buzbee, sent a threatening letter demanding something, which was intercepted by his legal representative.

He had figured out the essence of those accusations, but instead of prompting a settlement, the public examination made me more determined not to! (In other words, the opposite happened!)

It strongly compels me to reveal your deceitful nature in a highly visible manner, and absolutely, under no circumstances, will I hand over a single penny, let alone a red one!

The rap artist strongly urged to submit a criminal report instead of a civil one, due to the extremely serious and criminal nature of these accusations. If proven true, anyone who harms a minor in such a manner should face severe punishment, a sentiment you might concur with.

‘The pain that troubles me most is for my family. Soon, my wife and I may need to have a difficult conversation with our children, some of whom are at an age where they might encounter news about these allegations through their peers. We’ll have to help them understand the unfairness and selfishness of certain individuals, as we fear another layer of innocence will be lost.’

Eventually, the woman who claimed she was raped chose to drop her civil case against Jay-Z. In response, he has since initiated lawsuits for defamation and extortion against her and her legal team, which includes Buzbee.

In the beginning of 2024, federal officials carried out searches at Diddy’s residences, such as his Miami estate, and confiscated items they considered a wealth of possible evidence.

Diddy has denied all wrongdoing.

Throughout the anticipated 10-week course of the trial, Beyoncé and Jay-Z remain attentive and keep tabs on the proceedings’ progression.
