Eversoul to shutdown on August 20, 2025, in Japan, just a year after its launch

Kakao Games Corporation has declared that their collectible role-playing game, Eversoul, will cease operation in Japan by August 2025. Initially slated for a global release in 2021, the game encountered two postponements before its eventual launch in 2023. Although the Japanese version debuted in May 2024, it will now terminate after just one year of being active.

For those who haven’t encountered it yet, Eversoul is an engaging Role Playing Game that involves amassing a team of Souls from six distinct factions, each possessing special abilities and combat moves. You can use any remaining paid items until EoS or apply for refunds

After the announcement, they have stopped selling Everstone (paid) as well as premium packs such as Charin Pack and Manon Pack. However, there’s lots of content coming up until the end, including a revival event, new spirits, repeat summon events, raids, sub-events, and a 3x reward event.

Additionally, I have some additional positive news: Any unredeemed rewards from Achievement Packs, Soul Passes, and Promotion Passes will automatically be sent to you via in-game mail, regardless of whether you’ve met the requirements. For monthly packs, your current benefits remain active, and any leftover rewards will also be delivered through the same method.

If you haven’t used any of the paid Everstone and wish for a refund, you have until October 22 (from August 20) to request it. The refund application will be accessible on this site once the service for Eversoul JP officially terminates.
