Fans of police dramas, mark your calendars! A top-rated procedural show is about to join Netflix’s collection.
Starting June 27th, fans with a subscription to our streaming service can look forward to having the entire series of “Line of Duty” available for non-stop viewing, ready for binge-watching.
Over its six seasons, the TV series “Line of Duty” has garnered a devoted fanbase, thanks to an impressive ensemble featuring actors like Stephen Graham, Vicky McClure, and Thandiwe Newton. The show first appeared on screens in 2012.
Regardless if you’re already an avid fan or just starting to tune in, “Line of Duty” promises thrilling, intricate plot twists. The show revolves around the Central Police’s Anti-Corruption Unit (AC-12), as they delve into corruption within their own ranks.

The series, crafted by Jed Mercurio (of “Bodyguard” fame), boasts a stellar rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Impressively, each of its initial four seasons has maintained a flawless 100% approval rating from the critical community.
Season 5 and 6 hold 90% and 86% scores, respectively.
Ever since the sixth and most recent season premiered in 2021, discussions about potentially continuing the storyline of AC-12 have been circulating, hinting at a possible seventh series. But so far, no formal confirmation has been made public.
Last month, actor Martin Compston (who plays Steve Arnott), expressed optimism about the possibility of a new season, hinting that he’s looking forward to its potential return.

“We’re always talking about possibilities and schedules and whatnot,” the actor told The Sun.
At this moment, everyone seems to have a lot happening, which means it might take some time before we can do anything.
Compston went on to say, “It’s great that folks continue to inquire about the series, as the thought of it ending would be quite dismal. I’m thrilled that people are still eager about it. Someday, I hope we can collaborate again. We do occasionally get together.
Line of Duty starts streaming on Netflix UK on 27 June. It also streams on BBC iPlayer.
