Dr Chris Brown ‘in talks with Seven’ amid rumours he is ‘frustrated he is being overlooked’ as Dancing With The Stars ‘faces the axe’

It appears that Dr. Chris Brown might be discussing his future at Channel Seven, as there’s speculation about the possible cancellation of Dancing With The Stars.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d say it’s been shared that a well-known vet and television personality, now 46 years old, is experiencing feelings of being pushed aside, only a year after reportedly inking a significant one million dollar contract with Seven Network.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m excitedly sharing that rumors are swirling about my potential future steps, and it seems there’s a possibility of me rejoining the Channel 10 family – the place I called home until mid-2023.

It seems that Dancing With The Stars could be canceled, even though Seven denies it – and this news has left Dr Chris feeling angry because they’ve chosen ex-Today sports anchor Alex Cullen to head their redesigned Daily Edition-style show instead of him.

In the present news programming on Channel Ten, Chris is set to take center stage, solidifying his position going forward. At 46 years old, he aims for a long and prosperous career ahead.

He cherished his stint at Seven, feeling disheartened that he’s not getting recognized. He yearned for a return to his role on I’m A Celebrity, but those in charge seem reluctant to disrupt the success of star Robert Irwin.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Dr Chris Brown for comment.

Brown hasn’t said much in public, yet there’s a growing buzz about the potential future of Dancing With The Stars, which has been ongoing for several months now.

Despite consistently high ratings, industry experts suggest that this flashy show is among the priciest for Seven Network to produce, with each episode estimated to run up nearly a million dollars in costs.

The current season sees Brown co-hosting alongside Gold Logie winner Sonia Kruger.

However, as more conversations revolve around updating the format and reducing costs overall, there’s a strong possibility that these two prominent figures could find themselves without their flagship program in the near future.

Channel Seven persistently refutes rumors that Dancing With The Stars is getting cancelled, however, there’s been a growing frequency of network reorganizations and performer contract adjustments. This trend has been more prevalent as the show’s ratings decline and production expenses escalate.

If Dancing With The Stars takes a break or gets cancelled, it’s likely that Channel 7 will retain Brown and conversations are already happening about creating fresh formats tailored for him.

On the other hand, if Channel 10 is indeed planning a new current affairs show, there’s still a chance that Brown could make a comeback.

Chris committed to a two-year deal with Seven, earning over $1 million annually, after fulfilling his contractual duties for I’m A Celebrity at his previous broadcasting company.

It appears that Dr Chris isn’t alone in his uncertainty, as there’s a lot of speculation about DWTS happening at a time when Australian TV personalities are experiencing broader turmoil.

His DWTS co-host Sonia is another Seven personality facing a crossroads.

The award-winning television host reigns supreme over reality shows such as The Voice and Big Brother, with no imminent risks reported according to insiders.

Still, if DWTS were dropped, Kruger would lose one of her marquee roles at Seven.

According to some sources, Sonia has quietly voiced worries that additional modifications in the choreography or presentation style might cause instability within the dance program, given that she had previously dealt with Daryl Somers’ replacement as the original host.

Recently, she enjoyed a well-deserved vacation in Europe with her family, fueling speculation that the longtime host may consider a more relaxed lifestyle overseas should her responsibilities decrease.
