Actress Lisa Dwan, known for her role in MobLand, posted a heartfelt message on Father’s Day, announcing the passing of her cherished father, Liam, on Sunday.
In a heartfelt message on Instagram, the 47-year-old Irish actress known for her role as lawyer O’Hara Delaney in the Guy Ritchie series, shared some unfortunate news about her passing. The reason behind her demise was not disclosed.
next to photos of herself and her late father, who passed away at the age of 85, Lisa wrote: ‘Liam Dwan had a knack for making an impact, and on Father’s Day of all days, he made his final exit. My Dad, born in 1939, rest in peace 2025.’
Supporters, including co-actors and well-known acquaintances, flooded the comments section as Joanne Froggatt posted heart emojis to express sympathy. Clodagh McKenna wrote, “Oh darling… I’m so sorry. May he rest in peace. Sending love xxxx.
Liam was known as an amateur actor in his home town of Athlone, in County Westmeath, Ireland.

In a conversation with The Irish Times in 2021, she disclosed details about her theatrical kin: ‘I had an exceptional aunt named Rita who graced the stages. My uncle, Dennis, was a talented opera vocalist, and there was Pauline too – they were all performers.’
In addition to her illustrious stage career, Lisa has also made appearances on BBC’s Bloodlands alongside James Nesbitt and Netflix’s Top Boy.
In the ten-episode series MobLand on Paramount+, Tom Hardy portrays the character of Harry Da Souza, who serves as a fixer. Pierce Brosnan plays Conrad Harrigan, the criminal mastermind, while Dame Helen Mirren takes on the role of his wife, Maeve.
Apart from his questionable business activities, Harry is also working on saving his marriage and avoiding couple’s counseling sessions with his wife, Jan (portrayed by Joanne Froggatt in Downton Abbey).
According to Tom, he finds the character intriguing due to his ability to separate different aspects of his life. He’s a father, in a relationship, and a killer, but these roles don’t overlap, which is what makes him so captivating as nothing from one part of his life affects the others.
As an ardent admirer, let me put it this way: “In one moment, I, or should I say, one of us – assuming schedules permit – will track you down.
He commented on the unexpected humor in the series, stating, “It seems that turning ordinary or polite situations into something amusing adds a comedic twist to a scene.
The famed action star, who collaborated with his 75-year-old father, Chips Hardy, on the BBC series Taboo and has received multiple awards for writing for Irish comedian Dave Allen, was inquired about whether he is often approached for traditional comic roles.

The jokes I receive are generally quite amusing, yet they frequently delve into rather grim subjects that some may find uncomfortable or disturbing. However, to me, it’s just a part of everyday life. There’s a dark humor in finding laughter amidst discomfort, if you will.
Tom promptly dismissed speculations that the show, characterized by Brosnan, at 72 years old, as “twisted,” was promoting violence. Instead, he emphasized its artistic and non-glorifying nature.
Violence and brutality have long been a part of stories and performances, stretching back to ancient works like the Iliad and the Odyssey, religious texts such as the Bible, and Dante’s Inferno. It hasn’t always been glamorous or appealing.
To me, art isn’t bound by any rules – it’s a space where we can experiment freely and spark discussions. We engage with art to gain insights into the human experience.
It comes after Tom opened up about his various health woes in a candid chat with Esquire magazine.
During the interview, he stood for an eye-catching photo session alongside his dog Blue, who was featured on the magazine’s cover with him.
In the course of the interview, he shared details about multiple surgeries he has experienced throughout his life, as well as his efforts to regain his strength – however, he also acknowledged a less than ideal practice: he uses e-cigarettes (vapes).
Tom shared with the interviewer that he has undergone two knee surgeries, his back disc is herniated, and he also experiences sciatica symptoms.
This version maintains the original meaning while using simpler language to make it more accessible for a general audience.

1. “Could it be plantar fasciitis, or inflammation of foot tissue? I wonder where that originated from and why? Why on earth?! Also, I strained a tendon in my hip. Everything seems to be going wrong now, and it doesn’t look like it will improve unless you perform stem cell treatments.”
2. “Is this plantar fasciitis, foot tissue inflammation? How and why did that happen to me? Why?! Additionally, I injured a tendon in my hip. It feels like everything is falling apart, and it doesn’t seem like it will get better unless we apply stem cells.”

‘The current situation can be summarized as follows: We have two e-cigarettes, someone else’s garments, and we both find the hotel room awkward and uncomfortable.’
In my recent health update, I shared that I’ll be having a knee surgery due to the physical toll taken during my stunt performances and jiu-jitsu practices.
Towards the end of the interview, it was mentioned that Tom briefly paused his response, made a sound like wheezing, and then took a puff from an electronic cigarette before resuming his answer.
Previously, during the shooting of Guy Ritchie’s The Fixer this year, the actor was observed using an electronic cigarette.
As a die-hard admirer, let me share with you an intriguing tidbit: The Peaky Blinders’ charismatic star confided in us that day he had popped some Sudafed to combat a bout of dizziness. He also hinted at hair loss, wobbly teeth, and weakening knees – making me wonder if the Shelbys’ tough exterior masks a struggle with the ravages of time, just like the rest of us fans!
