The well-known MOBA game, Mobile Legends by MOONTON, is about to start its Mid Season Cup (MSC). This event will be jointly organized with the Esports World Cup, which means there will be two major tournaments taking place. As a result, we can expect a significant increase in participation for the MLBB Women’s Invitational (MWI) in the year 2025 of the esports calendar.

The happening is set in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, commencing on July 15th, 2025. This will mark the second instance of MLBB being part of EWC 2025. In accordance with the esports plan for MLBB in 2025, this event is anticipated to be exceptional, boasting a larger prize fund and an upgraded system. The joint organizers of this event are MOONTON and the Esports World Cup Foundation.

Mobile Legends Women’s Invitational (MWI) 2025: Schedule and Format

As an excited fan, I’m thrilled to share that the grand event unfolds in two captivating phases! The journey begins with the Group Stage on the 15th of July. This stage lasts till the 17th, where teams will be meticulously grouped into four clusters, each consisting of four teams. The tournament will then follow a GSL format, ensuring every match is best-of-three (BO3)! The top two teams from each group will triumphantly qualify for the Playoffs, setting the stage for intense battles ahead!

The second phase begins on July 17th and concludes on July 19th. During this time, games will take place in a single-elimination format. Specifically, the quarterfinals will consist of best-of-three matches (BO3). The semifinals and matches to decide third place will be best-of-five (BO5), while the Grand Final is scheduled for best-of-seven (BO7).
