After the completion of the regional qualifying rounds for the Esports World Cup 2025, every team has been confirmed and is ready for the forthcoming event.
The regional competitions for the Esports World Cup 2025 have concluded, with the sixteen competing teams now confirmed for the main event. Along the journey, there were significant upsets and many prominent figures who won’t be advancing. However, the qualifiers served as an impressive display of the potential hidden in lesser-known contenders.
Here is a list of all the teams who have qualified for the EWC 2025 event and those who received direct invitations.
The following teams are those who made it to the EWC 2025 event through qualification, as well as those who were given direct invites.
EWC 2025: All qualified teams
From June 5th to the 13th, I was part of the intense regional qualifiers for the EWC. Six distinct regions were in the running, each vying for a single spot they could call their own. Even China had its regional qualifier, which coincided with the Asian Champions League. In this tournament, Xtreme Gaming managed to pull off an underdog victory against Team Tidebound, now known as All Gamers Global.
In the unplayed areas, powerhouses like OG, Natus Vincere, Team Secret, Nigma Galaxy, and numerous others were fighting for a chance. Regrettably, since each region could only send one team forward, there were inevitably some significant losses during this competition.
In Southeast Asia, it was unexpected that BOOM Esports didn’t win the grand finals, leaving players like Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong out of the action during the EWC. On the other hand, in the Eastern European qualifier, we saw an underdog team, Cyber Goose led by Alexey “Solo”, rise to dominance, even as an open qualifier winner.
