Kevin Costner, 70, drops retirement bombshell after frosty reunion with ex-wife

The Oscar winner began coming up with the idea for the project decades earlier in the 1980s.

Recently, Kevin made fresh remarks about his retirement, not long after an icy encounter with his former spouse, Christine Baumgartner, during their son’s graduation ceremony from high school this week in Santa Barbara.

In 2004, they exchanged marriage vows, and by then, they had become parents to three lovely kids. However, in the year 2023, Christine made the decision to initiate a divorce proceedings.

Following a bitter battle, the divorce was finalized last year in February.
