In the United Kingdom, you can now stream a ’80s-era thriller filled with familiar faces on popular platforms. The title? Well, let’s call it “Eighties Excitement” for the sake of simplicity!
As a gaming enthusiast, I find myself engrossed in this unique narrative set in a tiny Detroit suburb, where the atmosphere is thick with the tension of the Satanic scare that swept through much of America for nearly a decade.
A heavy metal group decides to transform their image into a Satanic musical act to garner attention, yet as strange vanishings and killings occur within and near the town, this threesome swiftly becomes the most unwanted individuals numbered one, two, and three in public opinion.
Previously released on Peacock in the U.S. around Halloween last year, these episodes are now available in the UK.
On a weekly basis, Paramount+ is unveiling fresh episodes, with each one premiering on Fridays. If, however, you prefer to marathon-watch the entire series, there’s just a week left to do so, as seven out of the eight episodes are already accessible for your viewing pleasure.

Critics commended the movie for its enjoyable atmosphere and compelling character development, even going so far as to describe it as an ideal choice for a Halloween viewing (though perhaps not entirely fitting for the UK’s release schedule, oh well).
