Dua Lipa reveals her family plans with fiancé Callum Turner after confirming their engagement
As a devoted admirer, I couldn’t help but share the delightful news that Dua Lipa expresses her heartfelt desire to start a family with her fiancé, Callum Turner, following their recent engagement announcement.
For the very first time since my idol, the 35-year-old heartthrob, dropped to his knee, I couldn’t help but share my own fervent enthusiasm, a milestone that marks the 29-year-old songstress who will turn 30 in August.
On the cover of British Vogue, the acclaimed songstress showcased her breathtaking physique in a delicate pink brassiere, captivating everyone who saw it.
During the interview, Dua expressed her thoughts about her family aspirations, explaining that she’s pondering over how balancing a career as a pop star and parenthood might work out for her.
She expressed her desire for having children someday, but she finds herself puzzled about finding the right moment due to concerns about balancing her career, tour schedules, and the need for personal time off.

I believe that certain events are inevitable and will occur at their own time. While I cherish kids, I feel there’s an enormous amount more to nurturing a child than simply having affection for them.
Confirming their engagement, Dua said: ‘Yeah we‘re engaged. It’s very exciting.
The choice to age together, to witness a lifetime and simply become inseparable friends for eternity – it’s an incredibly unique sensation.
Towards the end of the previous year, it became known that they had proposed romantically, and since then, Dua has frequently been spotted wearing a sparkling diamond ring on her hand.
Regarding their upcoming wedding, Dua expressed her hope that she completes her tour and Callum finishes his filming projects before they get married.
Though her hectic touring schedule has kept the thought of the wedding at bay, she acknowledged that she has begun contemplating about her choice of dress.
She said: ‘I want to finish my tour, Callum’s shooting, so we’re just enjoying this period.
It hasn’t been something I’ve spent much time considering or fantasized about – the idea of a wedding and what sort of bride I might be. Yet, all of a sudden, I find myself asking: “What would I choose to wear?

Dua expressed her deep affection for her engagement ring, emphasizing that it’s heartening to realize the person she’ll be spending the remainder of her life with truly understands her.
Dua and Callum were first linked in January 2024 and reportedly got engaged over Christmas in 2024.
‘I believe that some events are simply unpredictable and will occur when they’re supposed to. While I adore children, I feel that caring for them requires more than just affection; it involves a multitude of responsibilities.’
Dua and Callum experienced numerous instances reminiscent of the movie “Sliding Doors,” where fate brought them to the same location simultaneously but unknowingly to each other. It wasn’t until they met each other at the River Cafe in London that their paths finally crossed.
About a year passed, and she found herself enjoying a meal in Los Angeles with her friend, Mustafa the Poet. Suddenly, Callum made an appearance.
She thought: ‘Oh, it’s that really hot guy from The River Cafe.’
During their chat, it became clear that they had both been immersed in Hernan Diaz’s book Trust by sheer coincidence.
Asked if she feels they were destined to be together, she replied: ‘One thousand per cent.’
Back in January 2024, I found myself at the heart of an intriguing rumor mill when I stepped out at the Masters Of The Air afterparty in London alongside none other than Dua. Our shared presence at this high-profile event sparked whispers and speculation about a possible romantic connection between us.
Before announcing her new relationship, the singer of “Dance the Night” shared during interviews for her album Radical Optimism that she needed to regain her self-assurance following some rocky past relationships.

During her conversation with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, she shared: “Regarding relationships, I had to reach this point to discover what I truly required. It’s crucial to practice forgiveness, growth, learning, and accepting the past in order to advance towards the future.
For me, “Happy for You” is a beautifully uplifting song that resonates deeply, mirroring my personal journey.
Reflecting on relationships and experiences, one can discover more about oneself, uncover aspects that cause pain, understand personal expectations, and recognize what one is willing and able to offer in return.
‘I think, again, it goes back to that exchange of vulnerability.
In the past, I’ve experienced some harmful relationships, particularly at the beginning, where I often felt undervalued, as if I wasn’t good enough, and this caused a significant blow to my self-confidence. However, I’ve managed to rebuild my confidence since then.
You discover what your personal deal-breakers are. I believe this is crucial. While finding the right partner is essential, it’s more about finding the right fit for a healthy and lasting relationship.
‘You find that in friendships and in love relationships as well, of your non-negotiables.’
