I believe that certain events are inevitable and will occur at their own time. While I cherish kids, I feel there’s an enormous amount more to nurturing a child than simply having affection for them.

Confirming their engagement, Dua said: ‘Yeah we‘re engaged. It’s very exciting.

The choice to age together, to witness a lifetime and simply become inseparable friends for eternity – it’s an incredibly unique sensation.

Towards the end of the previous year, it became known that they had proposed romantically, and since then, Dua has frequently been spotted wearing a sparkling diamond ring on her hand.

Asked if she feels they were destined to be together, she replied: ‘One thousand per cent.’
