Amal Clooney is honoured in The Vogue 25 as she joins the likes of Keira Knightley and Munroe Bergdorf in being spotlighted as Britain’s most influential women

Amal Clooney has received recognition from The Vogue 25, being listed among the UK’s most impactful female figures.

47-year-old attorney and women’s rights advocate is now part of an esteemed group that includes Kiera Knightley and Munroe Bergdorf, renowned figures who have significantly influenced culture and society through their groundbreaking work in their respective areas.

Since 2018, The Vogue 25 honors and elevates the most impactful women shaping modern Britain, boasting a long line of powerful figures who have been acknowledged annually.

Forging the path towards 2025 is Amal, an esteemed professional who has garnered a stellar reputation as an exceptional advocate, notably standing up for victims of sexual violence in conflict areas.

In conversation with Vogue, Amal candidly discussed one of her greatest obstacles on the path to justice: ‘Indifference can be a formidable foe. Regrettably, injustice, cruelty, and misuse of power will persist. Yet, if those who oppose such actions remain silent, it becomes exceedingly challenging to instigate change.’

If fear outweighs bravery within the halls of authority – in government and businesses – it becomes challenging to make progress. However, I strongly feel that justice needs to be pursued actively; it doesn’t just occur spontaneously. The trajectory of history doesn’t naturally lean towards justice; instead, it’s up to individuals to guide it toward justice.

In a captivating image, the spouse of famous actor George Clooney made an impressive appearance in various magazines while posing gracefully in her dress and holding her attorney’s wig.

Additionally, actress Keira Knightley, aged 40, also earned a spot on Vogue’s distinguished list, an acknowledgement of her illustrious acting career that stretches back over three decades.

Kiera, who gained prominence with her role in Bend It Like Beckham in 2002, expressed to Vogue about embarking on a new phase: “It’s quite refreshing to have lived your life and had various experiences. And then say, ‘I’ve been through that, I’ve moved past it, and here we are amidst the confusion, but you can keep going.’

In another context, I’ve come across Munroe Bergdorf, a model and passionate advocate for transgender rights, who is widely recognized as a pioneer in this field at the age of 37.

In regards to her emotions during the transition, Munroe explained that it felt akin to the anticipation one has about living the life they aspire to lead someday.

She added that she felt ‘really lucky’ to be able to exercise that very hope on a daily basis.

Among the distinguished women on the Vogue 25 list is England soccer player Lucy Bronze, aged 33, who expressed her delight as women’s soccer is currently experiencing a flourishing phase.

The athlete expressed doubt earlier about considering sports as a potential career option due to the challenges she encountered along the way.

Kate Middleton, often referred to as the Princess of Wales, is included among those who significantly influence modern-day Britain.

Alongside The Princess Royal (Princess Anne), as well as Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves, she is included in the list.
