Zahida Allen has welcomed her first child. 

As a devoted admirer and past cast member of Geordie Shore, I excitedly announced my joyous news on Instagram last Friday. This season marks the third and fourth time I graced the screen on this iconic show.

Uploading a series of adorable snaps, she revealed: ‘ZYRA 06.05.2025 7lbs. 

Greetings to the world, sweet little one! You are the essence of my existence, filling my life with a fresh sense of purpose, boundless love, and unwavering strength.

You’ve shown me a kind of love I’ve never known before, and now we’re embarking on an enchanting voyage side by side.

I’ve thoroughly cherished the first month with you in our cozy “newborn bubble,” maintaining privacy and adapting to this new chapter of life. You hold an extraordinarily precious place in my existence.

Despite encountering numerous hurdles and setbacks, we managed to tackle them all hand-in-hand, defying expectations. Now, I’m delighted to say that we’ve forged an unbreakable bond, making us lifelong companions, Mini Z.

‘I promise to care for you, guide you, protect you and give you eternal love. I love you my Zyra.’ 

Last month, the television personality revealed that she is expecting her first child, which came as a pleasant surprise, via an Instagram post.

She had kept her pregnancy hidden, but when she spoke, it was only a matter of days before she welcomed a baby girl into the world.

Cradling her baby bump, she wrote: ‘A special announcement.. Mini Z coming very soon – May 2025’.

In a series of beautiful, pink-hued photos, Zahida gracefully displayed her baby bump and even held up an ultrasound image, yet she kept the identity of the baby’s father private.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’ve been grappling with finding the perfect words to express this for quite some time now. Yet, here I am, feeling compelled to openly share my news with all of you, as I believe that the timing couldn’t be more fitting.

I discovered my pregnancy quite late, and I never imagined myself among those who don’t exhibit signs or experience bodily changes early on. For a considerable period, there were no indications whatsoever, leaving me completely clueless about it.

In the course of managing various health complications affecting my stomach and kidneys, I underwent numerous consultations and tests. However, amidst these challenges, a tiny bundle of joy continued to thrive comfortably within me.

She continued: ‘This news completely changed my life, but for the better.

I decided to confide in my close family and dearest friends about this piece of information, waiting until I felt prepared to reveal it to a wider audience. I trust that you all can appreciate and honor the reasons behind my choice.

As a cherished follower, I can’t help but reflect on the lovely moments we’ve shared with the bump. I am profoundly grateful for those special individuals in my life who have consistently showered me with nothing but love, alleviating countless stresses and concerns. It’s a genuine blessing to be surrounded by such remarkable affection and unwavering support.

This phase in my life is something I’ll always remember vividly, and I owe a debt of gratitude to those who stood by me. They have my heartfelt thanks forever.

Zahida shared her emotional feelings regarding the passing of her father, mentioning that she has been experiencing a renewed sense of grief and feeling strongly bonded with him once more.

She expressed: “I pictured that my father would be present to greet his grandchild, which made me grieve anew as it had long been his wish to experience grandfatherhood.

He said his last farewell with, ‘I will entrust my prayers and blessings to you and your daughter.’

I believe this is the child my father was referring to, and I sense a deep bond between them that eludes my understanding.

Later on, Zahida disclosed that all the food cravings she’s experienced during her pregnancy were actually the same dishes she prepared for her father in his final days.

She went on to say: ‘The desires I’ve experienced are reminiscent of the foods I used to give to my father during the final stages of his life. Now, it’s such a beautiful thing to enjoy these same foods as I embark on a new journey – nurturing my baby.’

However, contrary to what might be assumed, this isn’t a melancholic message; instead, it’s filled with joy. Regardless of how far I’ve traveled around the globe, my heart remains deeply connected to my family. They are my fundamental essence.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’ve been graced with an extraordinary gift – the growth of my precious little one. Carrying her has been an unparalleled privilege, each moment imbued with a sense of luck that words can scarcely express. I’ve cherished every instance of her development, from tiny flutters to the mighty leaps she makes now. The transformation is nothing short of miraculous.

Although it’s a bit awkward when she presses her foot against my ribs, I must admit that this experience has been captivating and enchanting. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my pregnancy journey and cherished the moments of snuggling my belly at night, knowing my baby is safely inside me.

Zahida continued, expressing that the baby is an extraordinary source of joy in her life, and she eagerly anticipates embarking on the next stage of her journey.

She found: “To me, it feels like my life is simply starting anew, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to embrace my tiny wonder into existence and embark on this upcoming phase of my life as a mother.

To all single parents and those about to embark on this journey, let me express my deepest admiration and respect for your incredible strength. Be proud of the amazing individual you’ve become as you face each challenge with courage and grace.

Zahida wrote a heartfelt note for her ‘mini version’, expressing her gratitude and happiness at being her mother.

She expressed: “To the small version of myself that’s growing within me, I feel incredibly fortunate to bear you every day, sensing your activity and bonding with you. No words can convey the joy you’ve already brought into my life, and that’s before you’ve even arrived.

‘I love you unconditionally and I cannot wait to finally meet you. All my love Zahida’.  

At the same time, Zahida proudly displayed her growing belly in a white bralette and pink-striped pajamas as part of the revelation.
