There Are (Allegedly) Two Words That Describe How Ryan Reynolds And Blake Lively Are Feeling After Bombshell Update In Baldoni Defamation Suit

The legal struggle faced by Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds isn’t over yet, but they’ve recently been given a boost as a judge decided to throw out a lawsuit filed against them by Justin Baldoni. Following this development, Lively’s team has made an official statement. Now, sources close to the couple are offering insights into how Blake and her husband are feeling at this moment.

Blake Lively And Ryan Reynolds Are Reportedly Celebrating The Recent Ruling

A source close to the situation shared with Us Weekly after Justin Baldoni’s lawsuits were dropped, one involving Blake Lively and the other the New York Times. The source characterized the feelings of Lively and Reynolds at this moment using just two words:

Blake experiences a mix of relief and validation, feeling proud for persisting in speaking out and standing firm. Now, the attacks against her will not receive further attention or recognition.

It appears that the feeling of “vindication” aligns with the reports so far. From the beginning, Lively’s legal team dismissed Baldoni’s claims as a “sham,” and they celebrated the dismissal of his lawsuits as a “total victory.” The lawsuit, which demanded $400 million in damages and made headlines due to Ryan Reynolds’ involvement, also included accusations that Reynolds’ portrayal of the Deadpool and Wolverine characters was intended to mock Baldoni. Interestingly, Baldoni’s team sought documents from Marvel Studios regarding this suit. However, it is now unlikely that Marvel will provide those papers as the lawsuit has been dismissed.

Meanwhile, Blake Lively’s allegations against her co-star and director Justin Baldoni on the film “It Ends with Us” are advancing. She has accused him of sexual harassment and asserted that he and his public relations team have initiated a smear campaign against him. However, Baldoni has refuted these claims.

Justin Baldoni’s Lawyers Respond To Recent Ruling

Justin Baldoni’s legal team has been granted time to revise their lawsuit against Lively. Although three out of seven initial claims have been dismissed, Baldoni’s lawyers plan to rework their complaint regarding the remaining points, as stated to TMZ. The declaration reads in part…

As a movie fanatic, I’m excited to share that although the court dismissed the defamation-related accusations, it has given us an opportunity to strengthen our case by amending four out of the seven claims against Miss Lively. This revision will allow us to present new evidence and refine our allegations for a more compelling argument.

Currently, Justin Baldoni and his team have been given until June 23rd to implement any changes they prefer. We’ll wait to hear any official announcements regarding these modifications.

Currently, the legal case that’s advancing is the one initiated by Blake Lively against Justin Baldoni. This trial isn’t scheduled to start until May next year. As Lively and Ryan Reynolds seemingly let out a sigh of relief in the interim, there are still some unpredictable factors at play, contingent upon how Baldoni and his team decide to proceed further.
