Zara McDermott hints that her BBC Three documentary about the effects of stalking will be shown shortly.
Last year, the previous contestant of Love Island, aged 28, unveiled a two-part series titled “Zara McDermott: Harassed,” which she had been working on for approximately 18 months prior.
On Tuesdays, she posted a monochrome image on her Instagram Stories. The photo showed her conversing with a female police officer, both of them dressed in vests for protection. Accompanying the image were the words, “COMING SOON”.
The thought-provoking documentary features Zara lending her aid to victims who have experienced domestic abuse and stalking, shedding light on the harsh effects that stalking has on individuals’ daily lives throughout the United Kingdom.
She’ll also track the path of individuals who chose to file reports with the police, as well as observe how these allegations move within the legal system.

Initially, the presenter stated that the series would be aired in April. However, as May passed without any new announcement, there were no updates until Tuesday’s post.
Over the past few years, Zara has been instrumental in introducing a variety of insightful and well-received documentary films to the BBC.
The celestial body (star) has discussed a range of significant matters, such as the issue of revenge porn, gender bias, the prevalence of rape culture in UK educational institutions, and an increase in young individuals struggling with eating disorders.
However, following the completion of filming for the stalking documentary in March, Zara acknowledged that it was one of her most emotionally taxing experiences. She commended the courageous women featured in the program and expressed her hope that it would spark meaningful discussions on this sensitive topic.
Posting Instagram photos from the police station’s exterior during our last week of filming for my stalking documentary, she captioned: ‘This has been a truly enlightening, emotional journey – among the most impactful documentaries I’ve ever produced.’
Through this experience, I’ve gained immense knowledge about the resilience displayed by those who have suffered – some of these women exhibit a strength that is truly remarkable and unparalleled in my life.
Stalking is among the loneliest forms of crime. The indomitable spirit displayed by the women I’ve interacted with, their daily resolve to move forward despite everything, is nothing less than awe-inspiring.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I can’t express enough gratitude for the privilege of doing the work I do. It’s more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to potentially shape our world positively, hand in hand with the extraordinary individuals I collaborate with. From the depths of my heart, I extend my sincerest thanks. ❤️

As a lifestyle expert, I’m thrilled to share that over the past 18 months, we’ve been meticulously crafting this documentary series from its initial concept to where it stands today. It’s been an arduous journey of striking a delicate balance due to the delicate nature of our subject matter. My hope is that it sparks meaningful discussions not only within homes and schools but also across society, fostering understanding and empathy. ❤️
In October, Zara disclosed a new initiative, inviting her followers to connect with her and share personal tales about instances of being followed or harassed.
On Instagram, she posted a video with this caption: “I’m eager to grasp the everyday fears and anxieties that people are experiencing. Additionally, I aim to discover ways we can more effectively assist victims within our community.
She commented: ‘Your perspective matters greatly, and sharing your experiences could bring clarity to this critically important and delicate matter.’
I’ve added a special ‘Support’ section to my page, which provides essential websites and advice from a stalking expert for those who might be going through this. Remember, you are not alone, and there is help available.
As someone who has witnessed the impact of stalking on those close to me, I felt compelled to take part in this series.
I am strongly interested in understanding firsthand the genuine effects of stalking on individuals, including the anxiety, apprehension, and steps they take to report such crimes to law enforcement. I aim to explore potential ways to aid them and facilitate the apprehension of their stalkers.
In a two-part show, Zara McDermott, under the supervision of Nasfim Haque, Head of Content at BBC Three, delves into the life-altering effects of stalking, offering a firsthand account of how victims are affected by this experience.

Because the situations being dealt with in these cases are very delicate, Zara and her modest film crew plan to handle the upcoming filming with great caution and privacy.
During a prolonged production phase, they have been collaborating closely with charities and advocates to shed light on the impact of this growing trend on today’s youth.
Fans of One Direction theorized that Zara might have got acquainted with her boyfriend, Louis Tomlinson, due to their shared work on a documentary involving his sisters.
In March, there were discussions on Reddit suggesting that Louis’ twin sisters Daisy and Phoebe might have been attempting to create their own documentary series, possibly playing a role in introducing their well-known brother to Zara.
‘Another fan speculates that she might be involved in the alleged show the twins are attempting to produce, let’s hope there’s truth in this assumption.’
A third user mentioned that they believe a documentary about the Tomlinson family is in production because the sisters aspire to become England’s equivalent of the Kardashians. Since Zara has experience with documentaries, it’s possible that she might be part of the project.
Instead of saying ‘Another echoed’, consider using ‘Another person agreed’ or ‘Yet another individual concurred’.
“Another person agreed that it seems to be more about business than anything else (since the twins are deeply involved in reality TV, and Zara was on Love Island). If this is a stunt, it would appear quite absurd, especially given that Louis has openly criticized Love Island.
For a while now, his sisters have kept an eye on her. If they decide to pull off any surprises, we’ll definitely notice since a stunt’s aim is to be conspicuous and attention-grabbing.
It seems more plausible that she’s assisting the twins in preparing for their reality TV show, similar to the Kardashians’, which has been the topic of discussion lately.

26-year-old Louis’ sibling, Lottie, has just disclosed that they have taken on a new member, Zara, as part of their family, during a recent conversation about their connection – a topic discussed publicly for the first time.
She told OK! Magazine: ‘Yeah, she is amazing and they are really happy. I’m really happy for him.’
Lottie suggested that Zara could potentially be taking on the role of babysitter soon, given that she has a son, Lucky who is two years old, and a daughter, Flossie who is five months old, with her fiancé Lewis Burton.
Asked if the couple would be helping out she joked: ‘Hopefully, yeah.’
