Eva Longoria delivered a heartfelt speech concerning the persistent upheaval linked to ICE deportations and protests in Southern California, seeming relaxed within her Spanish villa.
50-year-old Longoria addressed the current situation to her 10.6 million Instagram followers in a lengthy video posted on Tuesday. In it, she shared that although she wasn’t physically present in Los Angeles, her emotions were deeply connected with everyone affected by the ongoing events.
In a space reminiscent of her Spanish abode, the captivating actress, known for portraying Gabrielle Solis on 180 episodes of the hit ABC series Desperate Housewives (from 2004-2012), found herself comfortably seated.
Longoria expressed that it was tough to observe the ongoing situation, suggesting that she was probably residing in Spain at the moment.
The celebrity from Corpus Christi, Texas expressed his astonishment by saying, “I find it hard to picture the current situation in Los Angeles.” He continued, “I can hardly fathom that this is taking place in Austin, Texas as well. And across the entire nation, I simply can’t believe it.
I find it astonishing that the responses to it are quite unexpected, as it goes against the spirit of American values.

The well-known Mexican-American celebrity expressed her stunned reaction as she witnessed the events, stating that they contradicted the fundamental principles that America’s founders established.
The Golden Globe-nominated actress stated, ‘It’s clear to us all that we don’t desire criminals, rapists, or drug dealers in our nation; we don’t want individuals acting unethically here – unfortunately, that’s not the current situation.’
Longoria stated that President Donald Trump exceeded his authority in his actions, and he failed to honor his campaign pledge of deporting only individuals with criminal records.
In my line of expertise, I’d like to clarify that these gatherings taking place at birthday parties, school graduations, and even stores like Home Depot are simply groups of people celebrating or shopping, not individuals who are involved in criminal activities.
