Orlando Bloom has revealed what was “so good” about his new London-set film, Deep Cover.

On June 12th, the action-comedy will be available for streaming on Prime Video. The story revolves around an improv instructor (Bryce Dallas Howard) and two of her pupils, portrayed by Bloom and Nick Mohammed, who find themselves assigned with the mission to penetrate a criminal organization.

Featuring a powerhouse ensemble led by Sean Bean, Paddy Considine, and Ian McShane, Tom Kingsley’s movie has Bloom portraying an earnest, struggling actor. The role offers Bloom an exciting opportunity to delve into his character’s depths.

The director noted that Orlando had a keen understanding of what made his character amusing and skillfully portrayed it, by fully immersing himself in the role. Moreover, he’s open to poking fun at himself, according to the director.

Deep Cover is released on Prime Video on 12 June.
