After experiencing some criticism from her followers following an unwise comment made after not winning an award at the 2025 BAFTA Television Awards, Stacey’s international trip occurs subsequently.

Despite congratulating the victors, Stacey couldn’t hide her disappointment, admitting that she felt let down because her team, in her opinion, deserved to win the award. She expressed her belief that they had been unfairly denied it.

I believe the Sort Your Life Out team truly merited a BAFTA, and I’m deeply disappointed by their loss. However, I want to make it clear that every other recipient of a BAFTA also richly deserved their award.

Many believe that producing TV is straightforward, but this couldn’t be further from the truth, and everyone involved deserves acknowledgement. However, I can’t help but feel disappointed for my Sort Your Life Out team because I truly believed they deserved a BAFTA award. Honestly, I am genuinely disappointed!

In her explanation about the process of creating their show, she continued: ‘We dismantle an entire house in just seven days, transporting it to a storage facility where all its contents are spread out on the floor for thorough inspection. We ensure that nothing is carelessly discarded.’

Instead of throwing items away, we choose to donate, recycle, or resell them. Our goal is to return these goods to circulation and support systems that aid families in their progress.

Additionally, she acknowledged and expressed gratitude towards the families who selflessly share their personal lives and homes with television viewers, understanding that they may face criticism or judgment.

In a more polite manner, Dilly Carter – a fellow professional organizer alongside Stacey – expressed gratitude for being nominated, despite not winning the award.

Accompanied by a red-carpet video, she stated, “Exiting just as we entered, with our chins held high and incredibly proud of the accomplishments we’ve made as a team in producing this show.

It’s quite simple to slip into feelings of sadness due to not winning, and overlook our current situation. However, when you really think about it, we’re surrounded by extraordinary talent here. Yet, in this very space…
