Taylor Swift granted protective order from ex-con stalker who claims she is mother to his child

A court has issued a protective order for Taylor Swift, barring a former convict who asserts that he is the father of her child from approaching her.

On Monday, as reported by TMZ, the well-known 35-year-old celebrity applied for a protective order and was temporarily given one.

DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives for Swift who have confirmed the report.

As reported by TMZ, Taylor claims that a former convict has been repeatedly appearing at her home unsolicited, asserting that they share a child together.

The popular singer alleges that Brian Jason Wagner, who is 45 years old, actually updated his driver’s license address to be at her Los Angeles home.

On Friday, Taylor chose to appear in court to submit a filing, allegedly due to years of harassment by him, which reportedly started during his time in prison.

According to the records, Taylor alleges that Wagner appeared on her land multiple times in May under the pretext of wanting to see her and informing security that he was visiting a friend.

In my own words, I can share that upon closer examination, my team and I conducted a background check on Wagner, discovering that he had served time in prison before.

Taylor stated that she was informed he’d been writing extensive messages to her during his imprisonment, which she alleges were largely fictitious accounts detailing his participation in her private affairs.

It’s particularly troubling that Taylor claims Wagner used worrying and aggressive language in their communication, and furthermore, allegedly tried to redirect mail from her Los Angeles home.

As reported by TMZ, she alleged that he falsified information to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), with the intention of altering the address on his driving license to her residence in Los Angeles.

In addition to his other declarations, the renowned figure asserts that Wagner visited her residence on at least three occasions in July 2024, with one of these visits rumored to involve him carrying a glass bottle which might potentially serve as a weapon.

Taylor asserts that she has neither encountered nor exchanged messages with Wagner, and through a court injunction, she requested Wagner to maintain a distance of at least 100 yards from her, her residence, her place of work, and her vehicle.

The well-known celebrity has previously encountered multiple stalkers, among them was an individual who mailed disturbing letters containing threats of taking her life.

Over the weekend, Taylor surprised her fans by attending a family wedding in Nashville – that of Travis Kelce’s cousin.

On Twitter, clips circulated showing the beloved pair, out on a romantic evening in Florida this week, delighting in the wedding festivities. They could be seen swaying and dancing in their seats as they watched the newlyweds perform their first dance.

Multiple TikTok clips featured the 35-year-old international pop sensation donning a stunning, $1,995 Markarian strapless blue floral gown.

She finished off her style with a pair of strappy, brown leather heels, a classic touch often seen on her. Her long, golden hair was styled into soft, wavy curls that fell gracefully over her shoulders.

At the family gathering held in a barn believed to be in Nashville, Travis, who is 35 years old, appeared joyful as he was accompanied by his beloved partner.

As a devoted fan, I had the privilege of attending what appeared to be the nuptials of Tanner Corum, the famous Kansas City Chief’s cousin, and his beautiful bride, Samantha Peck.

One TikTok user, known as @Paigedoeswhatshewants, jokingly titled a post: ‘Taylor Swift not attending my friend’s cousin’s wedding.’
