90s pop group reunite 25 YEARS after hit song and people can’t believe how young they look

A famous 90s pop band, who left fans amazed by their youthful looks, took the stage in London after a 20-year absence, leaving spectators spellbound by their timeless charm.

As a devoted admirer of ABBA, I had the privilege of leading a tribute band that originally started out paying homage to them. We delivered a captivating set at the buzzing Mighty Hoopla festival held within Brockwell Park.

Dhani Lennevald (age 40), Marie Serneholt, Amit Paul, and Sara Lumholdt (all age 41) were famously known as the ABBA teens, adding a touch of nostalgia to the festival by donning vibrant, 90s-inspired wardrobes.

As a devoted admirer, I’ve got to say, I find myself constantly marveling: “How on earth do they manage to stay in such amazing shape?!” or “Gosh, they never seem to age! They’re still incredibly attractive.” Even more so, their timeless beauty makes me feel like time has passed me by!

In 1998, the Swedish band initially came together, but it wasn’t until their performance on Britney Spears’s Oops!… I Did It Again tour in 2000 that they gained a worldwide following.

Initially, they parted ways in 2004; but surprisingly, they came together again recently for the Swedish music competition, Melodifestivalen 2024.

They’re reportedly negotiating with record companies regarding the production of fresh tunes, and they received an enthusiastic response when they played their lively dance track in London.

90’s teens and I were the ones who brought back the magical tunes of ABBA, giving new life to iconic tracks such as “Mamma Mia” and “Dancing Queen.” We couldn’t get enough of those timeless melodies!

The band are also known for their original songs, Upside Down (2000) and Floorfiller (2002). 

Over the years, I’ve been privileged to be a part of a band that released four albums in total. These include “The ABBA Generation” from 1999, “Teen Spirit” in 2001, “Pop ’til You Drop” in 2002, and “New Arrival” in 2003.

At the May 31 to June 1 Festival, which was favored by the LGBTQ+ community, other ’90s bands, including Eurodance group Vegaboys, were not the sole performers.

Previously, teens looked back on their achievements from 2021, referring to themselves as youngsters who had a passion for dancing.

At that point, their fame was so immense that even Britney herself referred to them as fans, which ultimately led to an invitation joining her tour in 2000.

Dhani told Vice in 2021: “We were just kids who loved singing and dancing.

“We would sometimes stop and just be like, “I can’t believe that this is happening for us.”

‘It was such a beautiful and proud moment of my life.’

Initially, the group *teen broke apart at a leisurely pace. Although they disbanded in 2004, it took another two years, until 2006, for them to formally declare that they had parted ways.
