The excitement for capturing creatures has significantly increased with the unveiling of Aniimo, an all-new, free-to-play open-world action role-playing game, during the Xbox Games Showcase on 8th June, 2025. This upcoming title will be accessible to everyone and is expected to hit shelves in 2026 across various platforms such as Xbox Series X|S, PC, and mobile devices.
Created by Pawprint Studio and released by FunPlus under the Kingsglory brand, Aniimo offers a new journey brimming with enchanting beings, discovery, and an intriguing gameplay feature known as Twining.
Set in the visually stunning world of Idyll, Aniimo brings amazing visuals and presentation to the mix
In the game Aniimo, you’ll embark on an adventure through the lively realm of Iddyl, a place teeming with enigmatic ruins, shifting landscapes, and fascinating creatures called Aniimo. Unlike ordinary collectibles, these Aniimo can develop, transform, and be studied to uncover hidden abilities. Here are a few examples: Emberpup, Budclaw, and Otti are some Aniimo you might recall before diving into the gameplay.

What truly sets this game apart is its unique “Merging Mechanic”. Instead of merely battling alongside your Aniimo companion, you’ll actually fuse with them. This merging feature offers fresh viewpoints, bestows additional skills, and alters your interaction with the game world.
From what we see in the launch trailer, the scene appears to be stunningly beautiful. The cinematic elements are of excellent quality, and it seems that the game itself features state-of-the-art graphics. The environments are brimming with detail, offering sharp animations, and creating a visually dense world.

Given such a presentation, it’s reasonable to assume that the suggested specifications, particularly for mobile devices, will lean towards the more advanced. Users with mid-range or outdated phones may need to adjust settings or possibly think about an upgrade to fully appreciate it as intended.
Exploration games featuring creatures are gradually gaining momentum, fueled by the triumph of Palworld. As KRAFTON works diligently on a mobile version, it’s clear that fans can anticipate even more exciting titles in the future.
2026 marks the anticipated launch of a 7-day closed beta test for the PC version of Aniimo. This test will offer an initial glimpse into the gameplay features. Pre-registration for Aniimo is now available on the official website, allowing you to sign up via email for versions on PC, Xbox, and mobile devices. Don’t forget to visit the site and explore more details about your preferred platform!
