In 2023, the CEO of OWN, who weighed 237 pounds back in 1992, successfully achieved her target weight of 160 pounds with the aid of an unspecified GLP-1 agonist drug. Following a double-knee replacement surgery in 2021, this milestone was reached after many years of struggle and dedication.

Notable personalities who have openly discussed using popular injections are Kathy Bates, Kelly Clarkson, Whoopi Goldberg, Meghan Trainor, Elon Musk, Rebel Wilson, Chelsea Handler, Amy Schumer, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, Lauren Manzo, Dolores Catania, and Golnesa ‘GG’ Gharachedaghi.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has endorsed only three GLP-1 drugs, namely Wegovy (semaglutide), Saxenda (liraglutide), and Zepboun (tirzepatide), for weight loss purposes. All other GLP-1 drugs are primarily intended for individuals managing type 2 diabetes.

Oprah, guided by her stylist Annabelle Harron, showcased her sleek 5-foot-6-inch frame in a chic black dress with an off-shoulder design and intricate white detailing on the sides, serving to accentuate her slender waistline even more.

Hairdresser Nicole Mangrum styled Oprah Winfrey’s wavy, partially pulled-up hairstyle, while makeup artist Derrick Rutledge accentuated her facial features with full contouring, for the theatrical awards show that was aired on CBS.

The Tony Award-winning producer was accompanied by her longtime friend, Gayle King, who is a co-host on CBS Mornings.

In 1976, Oprah Winfrey and a 70-year-old woman who referred to herself as an ‘astronaut’ unexpectedly spent the night together for the first time because of a Baltimore blizzard. However, it is important to note that they are not romantic partners or lesbian lovers.

‘I understand why people think we’re gay,’ Winfrey admitted to O Magazine way back in 2006.

‘In our society, we don’t have a term for this strong emotional bond between women, which leads people to question its nature – they wonder if such closeness can’t be sexual. Since 1986, Oprah Winfrey, the billionaire from Mississippi, hasn’t been seen publicly with her rumored partner, motivational speaker Stedman Graham. However, there was one exception: a group photo of friends celebrating New Year’s in January 2024.

During an 11-year marriage with Bill Bumpus, partner at Concrete Rose Capital, Gayle raised two children: her daughter Kirby (aged 39) and son William (aged 38). This union ended in 1993.

Oprah Winfrey and Steven King were seen smiling together alongside actor George Clooney from the film ‘Good Night and Good Luck’, during which they chatted, with Clooney kneeling down near Oprah’s feet in his tuxedo to engage in conversation.

In a fun and engaging role, Oprah shared hosting responsibilities and collaborated on a sketch alongside Tony Awards emcee Cynthia Erivo. During this performance, she playfully requested Wicked’s star to grip her finger.

Oprah Winfrey and a 38-year-old British actress are well-known for their Tony Award wins in 2016, earned through producing and acting in director John Doyle’s revival of The Color Purple on Broadway. This production took place at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre from 2015 to 2017.

In a subsequent venture, the actress known for her role in Six Triple Eight took on an executive producer position for Blitz Bazawule’s 2023 film adaptation of the same musical. Unlike Cynthia, Fantasia Barrino portrays Celie Harris-Johnson in this adaptation.
