Snoop Dogg plans to open burger truck at iconic UK football stadium – and even wants to serve fans himself

Snoop Dogg plans to open a burger truck at an iconic UK football stadium.

53-year-old American hip-hop artist, known as Snoop Dogg (born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr), has expressed curiosity towards Celtic Park – a stadium belonging to the Scottish Premiership squad, Celtic, situated in the Parkhead district of Glasgow.

Born and raised in California, Snoop Dogg has expressed his affection for the team in the past, admiring Ryan Reynolds’ metamorphosis of Wrexham and finding inspiration in it.

He shared with The Sunday Mail, “It’s my dream to introduce a mobile burger stand at a sports venue to demonstrate that stadium food doesn’t have to be subpar.

Without a doubt, it’s all about Celtic Park! A fantastic burger comes down to passion during the crafting process. The ground meat should contain a blend of special seasonings, followed by the addition of premium cheese and applewood-smoked bacon that has been cured with maple syrup.

Celtic supporters will surely appreciate it, and to ensure everything goes perfectly, Snoop Dogg will personally serve them.

With a wink, he joked: “Are you suggesting I take my hamburgers to the Rangers too? I don’t think so; I believe we’ll pass on that idea.

He also claims to have spoken to famous chef Gordon Ramsay about the possible business opportunity.

In October, Snoop Dogg unveiled his intentions to put money into Celtic FC, drawing motivation from the ownership roles of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney with Wrexham AFC.

In November 2020, the pair from Hollywood purchased Wrexham, a team based in Wales, for approximately 2 million pounds. At that time, they were competing in the fifth division of English football, a position they had held for almost 15 years.

Two seasons following their victory in the National League, they clinched promotion to League Two. The next season, they achieved another promotion, ensuring their consecutive advancement to League One. Now they are members of League One.

And it seems the club’s owners’ work is rubbing off on millionaire rapper Snoop Dogg.

In a conversation with The Daily Record, the 53-year-old, known as Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, expressed his interest in getting involved with sports, specifically focusing on Celtic.

‘I love what Ryan has done with Wrexham,’ he said. ‘It’s just a great story.

‘Investing in a sports team has been something I have been looking at for a long time.

‘If the chance came to invest in Celtic, I would be crazy not to take a look at it.

As a die-hard soccer enthusiast, I’ve feasted my eyes on countless European matches, yet nowhere have I encountered supporters as electrifying and captivating as those of Celtic. There’s an ineffable quality about them that sets them apart, leaving me in absolute awe.

‘Celtic Park, where some of the top players and coaches in the world praise its unique atmosphere, is widely discussed across Europe. My dream is to become an integral part of this legendary stadium.

‘For their team, the mascot is a dog, which seems too perfect to be coincidental. With Snoop Dogg taking on the role of ‘Hoopy the Hound’, it feels like a celestial union. The headlines practically draft themselves.’

Previously, images surfaced of Snoop wearing a Celtic jersey, and in a prior conversation, he referred to them as “his team.
