Molly-Mae Hague admits ‘it all feels a little bit full circle’ as she reacts to her 2019 Love Island audition tape while Tommy Fury makes his long-awaited return to her vlogs

The pair appeared just as affectionate as always, snuggling close and breaking out into fits of laughter. Before parting ways, Tommy leaned in to plant a kiss on Molly and whispered, “I love you.

Molly-Mae found herself reflecting on the moment as a sort of full-circle experience when she and her partner revisited the start of their romantic journey during the Love Island anniversary special.

Last week, ITV broadcast a special episode titled “Love Island: A Decade of Love” to commemorate 10 years of the show, during which they highlighted Molly-Mae and Tommy as some of its most successful couples.

In the fifth series broadcasted in 2019, their romance blossomed publicly, leading to the birth of their daughter Bambi in 2023, followed by an engagement later that same year.

However, fans were taken aback when they disclosed on Instagram in August that they had parted ways. Later on, Tommy confessed that Molly called off their relationship due to his heavy drinking habits.

At a poignant instance, while enjoying the anniversary special with Molly, Tommy confessed that he yearned for the lifestyle of the villa, a time when they had no concerns.

He expressed: ‘Are you familiar with the spot? Honestly, I yearn for that location. It brings back memories since there were no concerns, no phones – something you know I value. We had our own group there, we connected with people, didn’t we? It was wonderful, wasn’t it?’

However, Molly-Mae confessed: ‘It was good, but I mean I wouldn’t be in a rush to go back.’

As she appreciated the significance of Tommy appearing in her videos again after quite some time, she remarked humorously while tuned into Love Island: “It’s amusing that this is your first substantial return to the vlog and I’m watching a decade of Love Island. Everything feels rather cyclical at the moment.

During that moment, she couldn’t help but feel queasy and acknowledge that she had developed a sense of discomfort watching her audition video for the show for the very first time on the special occasion.

She shared with her followers: “Essentially, my manager received an email around three weeks back about a special 10-year anniversary program for Love Island, commemorating a decade of the show.

They mentioned that my audition video would be aired, and Fran wondered aloud if there was a way to view the audition tape before it aired on television since Molly hasn’t seen it for nearly seven years.

To be completely truthful, I must admit that I had entirely forgotten about its existence, simply because I have not personally witnessed it. Given that it was filmed, I never had the chance to watch it.

In just a moment, it’s set to air on TV, and I have absolutely no clue what’s coming next because I’ve never watched it before. To be honest, I’m quite nervous about how I’ll appear, sound, or what I’ll say.
